Around the 10 minute mark Jacoby offers as evidence for the "exodus", the fact that people wouldn't make up the idea that their ancestors were slaves. First, why not? Ancient Greeks loved the Iliad above all and the hero of the story was a pouting, sulking, baby! Second, it only took a few writers and redacters to make the story of the exodus up. The "people" as a whole hardly made this story up.

Very early on Jacoby says that it is not irrational to be an atheist. While this is obviously true, Jacoby contradicts some very clear parts of both the NT and OT which say the opposite. Does Jacoby believe the Bible is true or not?
