@RestaurantEquipment well hamilton beach machines made 50 years ago vs the ones sold in walmart today (made in china) are 2 very different machines. the one we had was wouldent work on its low speed about a month after buying it. it would vibrate like crazy and wouldent get up to speed and it didnt have much power. so i went to the old american made gilchrists
@1944johndeerel I can't vouch for their consumer products, but I do say that they have quality machines in their commercial line. I personally have an HBB250R blender. The only "problem" that we've seen is the rubber clutch wear out over time (easily and cheaply replaced).
@RestaurantEquipment Their higher end models have direct drive if this is a problem, but I didn't think much of it since it was for home use. It may be too early to tell about reliability for me personally, but as for performance, it is night-and-day compared with the previous consumer-grade blender I had.
If you've found that the consumer line is different, it's quite a shame that the quality of their commercial line hasn't carried over.
Dude your incredible about the variety of your hobbies! When I hear that motor I can smell the ozone! Ace has a drawer of assorted brushes. Maybe a match.
Hey, I have a hamilton beach No.33. I bought a stainless steel mixing cup, which should be universal. It doesnt seem to fit the mixer. When I put it up on the clip, it doesnt seem to fit the bottom hook. Im pretty sure the bottom hook is for it to stay, but it wont fit. do i need to adjust the mixer?
maybe your cup is to short or to tall, the cup for my modern hamilton beach is much smaller than the 1923 gilchrist! the gilcrist is huge compaired to the hamilton beach
i dont know what model it is, but ill tell you this i was really expecting more from hamilton beach! i could never get low speed to even work right. its walmart grade! thats why i bought the 1923 gilchrist 22! it needs new motor brushes but really works excellent! i got it off ebay cheap! i highly reccomend them!!! it really gave me more than i expected!
Hamilton Beach. They were quality in 1923. They are quality now. Nice video.

Very nice! You can't beat those old machines, far better than that Wal Mart thing.
I like your Kitchen Aid mixer as well. We have one of those as well.
