film extraordinaire que j'ai vu par hasard sur Arte, hier aprés midi, nous avons tellement l'habitude de voir de violence dans les histoires que j'étais sur la défensive tout le long de la balade dans l'attente d'un drame.. Je vais le revoir, apaisée une deuxième fois pour l'apprécier pleinement avec cette musique envoûtante !

Et ironie du sort....l'acteur principal richard farnsworth était atteint d'un cancer pendant le tournage de ce film et se suicida l'année suivante à l'age de 80 ans !!!.......peut -être savait il que ce film serait son dernier , car il y met une émotion intense et faire ce pèlerinage pendant le film était en fait peut-être le sien.....en tout cas respect, et belle leçon de vie.....

Je viens de voir ce film à la TV française, c'est d'un romantisme absolu !!!!

Le moment le plus tendre est celui où le Monsieur se réveille et voir un petit fardeau de bois à son attention laissé par la jeune fille.....

@bobduvar En fait... si la jeune fille laisse le fagot de bois c'est en un signe pour Alvin, rapport à ce qu'il disait, le fagot représente la famille et c'est le choix qu'elle a fait.

J'ai aussi adoré ce passage, elle est partie sans dire un mot mais a laisser un message sur son choix...

this movie reminds me of ... just coming together with nature or lovers...like when you go out at night, walk on bear feet, holding hands, looking at the night sky, sitting at a bonfire, wondering where you'll be in 10 years or not thinking about tomorrow at all, nightswimming, making out, holding each other as the stars shine bright, making a wish... just hoping the moment will last
