In 1980 Robert Addie was cast in his first film. Critics deemed Addie has one of the best young actors at that time. Sadly he left acting in 1989, but returned in 1995.

I remember when I was small girl there was tv series wih Robert who was playing main role: a knight, or prince BUT ha had a wife named Catherine or Caroline in this movie/tv series. I remember some episode when he discovers that he became a leper. That's all I remember. I think this tv series was about middle ages but some episodes where taking part like in middle east??? If anyone knows what was the title of this tv series or movie please let me know. Im looking for it since years!!!

This was just lovely. Gisburne wouldn't have been as fantastic as he was without the talents and beauty of Robert. We lost him far too soon. :(
