I don't like Lil Wayne. But I do support his side of this little "squabble". Nobody ever made a song to Sublime telling them not to make songs about killing cops or how they promoted drugs. I understand these children are probably being exploited by releasing some hokey bullshit like they did that appeals to parents who watch the news and want to protect their children. When I was 10 I thought drugs were bad too, but eventually you can no longer shelter your children from the world.

I get youre backing up wayne but I think this was his battle and its obvious he chose not to fight it... i also agree their parents should not let them listen to wayne especially the 5 year old. Wayne IS NOT the only person who raps in such a negative way anyways. I would never encourage my child to go after a rapper or use his instrumental just because it isnt good for their safety (as they received threats and hatemail from their song). I like wayne but he is a bit over the top sometimes..

People claim they want to affect a public, but singing about "ho's", "booty", "pimps" and having sex doesn't really seem like a positive message in a society where men and women are considered to be equals.
