  • Is this where they make nutella

  • Lovely film! I lived in Uppsala for 6 months this year, and I was there for Valborg. Too bad I missed the Gamla Uppsala tradition...

  • @AEMILIVS88 Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it!

If you didn't see enough of this Gamla Uppsala tradition in this video, welcome back another year! :)

  • The video is not too long, and I love it!! Thx for uploading Archos :)

  • @foreskinforest Thank you my friend, and thank you for this and for all of the other positive and uplifting comments you´ve written on my channel, they mean a lot to me!!

I made this video mostly for nonswedes like you visiting my channel. I wanted to show some of the atmosphere with celebrating Walpurgis night here in Sweden! I think the video turned out quite good and I am happy you liked it!! :-)

  • @Archos72

Thanks, I love watching your vids. Seems like Sweden has such a rich culture and history

    :).

  • @foreskinforest

Sweden does indeed have rich and interesting history and cultural heritage! This is one of the things I try to communicate through my channel! And at the same time I am learning things myself!

The "rainbowplay" (vid "gamla Uppsalaspelen 2008) pictures was shot on the other side of those huge barrows btw!

  • @Archos72 I start to wonder what historical and even real treasure is inside those old viking Barrows and how do they cut the grass hahha

  • @foreskinforest

There is a Vikingmuseum very close by here! I think you´d love it!!

About the treasures! Why don´t you bring a shovel and start digging by night?? If the vikings could do it, then can you man!!

About grasscutting! They use a "gräsröjare" off course! I have worked a LOT with those things in my life! Cut and paste this word in google picture and hopefully you´ll see what I mean!! :-)

  • At least this video should be interesting to americans who are proud over your history from only the 18:th century and forward! NOT EVEN 300 years!??! hahaha!! That is LAME americans!!

Here we have History dating MORE than 1500 years back!! .. ;-)
