I agree with the hallucinatory quality of a lot of these SCTV routines- they were SO brilliant and weird you just couldn't believe you'd just seen it, and on TV to boot.
All the cast members were insanely talented, but there's something special about Andrea Martin....

This just has me in stitches! It takes real talent to play 'inept screen presence'
Kind of sad subtext though - Tex had walked out on Edna some time earlier, and she's in full 'crazy pet lady' mode.
Still, "Here's Butch dressed as a succubus" floors me.
