  • loool i totally disconnected at the last chaos part xDDDD !!!

  • is there any difference between sketchup and sketch physics

  • THE MACHINE; IT DOES NOTHING

  • Its like garrysmod

  • Please help me , how do i get this plugin ?????

  • Whoa! I didn't know Sketchy Physics used Newton Game Dynamics!

  • Comment removed

  • k3wl

  • good for me

  • Yeah... let's trash the place!!! Hahaha. Good video!

  • LOL!

  • how do you move things is sketchup?

  • guys try a game called gmod... it's not free but great fun cuz you can do lots of stuff you do here (no sketching) and you do it together on servers and can build together and stand in this world as a player :D

  • Sketchyphysics....

Une merveille.....il manque juste une TRAJECTOIRE

pour les objets, mais vraiment félicitation aux

concepteurs......,me tenir au courant SVP de la date de sortie de la nouvelle version, si attendue!

  • i know how to use that sketchy physics now

  • But I don't know how the joints react with the components. If I won't learn that, I won't make a car crash scene!!

  • how do you install the Sketchy Physics add on into sketch up? Ive tried going to all these URLs that people tell me to go to, but they all end up in a "server not found". not to mention i am not too good with computers... maybe you or someone else could make a movie on you tube on how to do it?

  • 1: Go to google(dot)com

2: Search for "sketchy physics download"

    3: Click the first link

    4: Click "latest version

5: Follow the instructions on the page

  • ah. let's try that

  • and how can i install it???it's .zip...

  • use 7 zip or winrar ;)

  • Can someone please tell me how to make pistons in sketchyphysics? tell me the joints used, how to position them, etc. email me at tornadomamdouh@yahoo*com.

  • wheres the site to dowload this

  • how did you record that video file?

  • I used Fraps to capture it and then xvid to compress it.

  • PLZ tell me on how to use the Joint Connector!

  • Hey DarthGak: I need some help with the scrip. I noticed that in this video you made some wheels move around and around. I have sucessfuly done this, but say I wanted to make a car: I could get the wheels to rotate, but how do I get the car to fall in order to get on the ground? Thanks.

    ~Olay~

  • In general here how to make a car:

-Create the car body out of other shapes.

    -Group all car body shapes.

-Make each wheel and group with a hinge in its center

-Use the joint connection tool to connect each hinge to the car body.

That is basically how I made the cars in the examples.

  • I'm having trouble with steps 3-4. Would it be too much to ask for some tutoials on the 3D warehouse?

  • 3. Make a wheel. Make a hinge. Select both and group them.

    4. Select the Joint Connection Tool. Click on the hinge. Press and hold CTRL and click the car body. They will now be joined.

  • Oh, and there are tutorials on 3d warehouse. Just not one like this. Maybe you can do it once you have mastered it. :)

  • Thank you! I feel special now (=

  • its amazing, where can i get the plugin?

  • Its at code(.)google(.)com/p/sketchyphysics/

  • thank you very much for doing all the hard work and giving us this wonderful plugin :)

  • Is this V02? I don't understand how to do this.

  • This is done with a new version. It will be released this week.

  • another subtite "dynamic" and then the kinds of objects within those subtitles "box, sphere, etc." that way you don't need to go and whrite all that random stuff that I don't understand.

  • Hey, for the version after this, an easier way to run the program would be to make it so if you right-clicked a component there would be a "sketchyphsics" menu, you clicked on it and it said "make" subitle: "static"

  • but what about more complex things, like, say, a human foot. would it halve to act as a box?

  • Yes a foot would probably be a box (or lots of little boxes). Or something called a convex hull.

Sorry no Mac version. It would require an expert (and I mean expert) Mac coder who had plenty of time to port it and then support it.

  • wait, I know what I could do instead! Make the head a cylender, and stem a seperate clender!

  • oups, what I said was: if you ahlve a complex componenet, like a badminton racket, would it half to act like one of your pre-programmed shape settings (the cone, box, cylender and sphere)?

  • ...and the cylinder)

  • Yeah, if only there was a macintosh version... I have a mac, and would LOVE a version of this.

  • amazing, thanks, now if there only could be a macintosh version... :-)

  • Using the SketchyPhysics pluging for Sketchup. It will be released in early July.

  • How do you make it move like that?
