Coming when I turn the crank. It is not the PTO side bearing I know that for sure, and I am positive if it were a bad bearing it would not make a knocking sound. I found some good info on dootalk and I guess the 700's were famous for alot of top end noise due to the bigger amount of piston to wall clearance vs. other models. So , I am assuming that is why when I had the 600HO top end on it wasn't quite as bad. Every sled has some knocking sound when turned over, but not that bad.
Yeah ive Noticed the Rear Tunnel Extension... but yeah could be that or your Rods on the Crank / Or Rods&Piston rocking...maybe :P...just somethings that came to my mind :P
It's hard not to be paranoid when you have invested mad money into a project! I Think it is as modded as I want to get with it. Hopefully once I get it clutched I will be smoking you 800 guys on and off trail - :-P
@JCThumbs AHAHAHA i do HOPE youl Pass 800's after investing so much ...wouldn be worth if not ahahahahaha.....im not putting anything more than VForce3's in my Sled other than what i have now..it will fit PERFECT my Riding Style :D
It was a 600HO, I popped the top end off and bought a set of ported 700 cylinders, then a piston and gasket kit and re-did the whole top end. I think I am just being paranoid, I am 99% sure it is just the piston rocking in the cylinder due to them being new. I doubt the crank bearings would make a knocking noise. My 600RS does the same, but just not as drastic. I am assuming cause it is broken in.
Can't wait for snow, sled is going to rip with the 136'' trail extensions I put on.
Ive Been Looking at your Vid since you uploaded it man....is your Sound comming from when you Turn your Crank or is it really anShaft End Play !?

All I am doing in the vid is just twiggling the crank to get the top end mover ever so slightly. I am NOt turn it all the way over.
