We fly a variety of slope planes, depending on the wind conditions. One of the most versatile is the Alula which can be flown in low to medium winds and can be constructed in just a couple of hours. If you have experience with flying gliders or a trainer plane, you should be able to fly one. The other is the Weasel, a slightly heavier slope plane made by the same manufacurer but with the difference that it can be flown in higher wind ranges. do a google search for the planes.
Wikipedia reading mentioned this sport, so led me here (EPO entry). Interested in the types (brand, models) of the aircraft involved. Was it a club, or just friends doing this together. Will learn more about this now.
