@Omarateastwind Hi Omar, i'm the guy who posted this vid on GLP, good you have the same name here so i could spot you :-) Hang drums are very hard to get, the original ones are only made in Switzerland by Panart on a very slow rate. New they cost around 1200 dollar I believe, but second hand i have seen them around 3000 because they are so rare, specially the newer generations. There are older and newer models on the market. I've heard you have to write them (Panart) a letter to buy a new one.

I'm afraid these from Panart are way out of my price range...I'm just a poor hillbilly in the Ozarks. Thanks again....Peace....

@Zogqen he isn't using the pads around the hang instead he uses only the dome on the top, that gives the nice soft bass sound.

@Streamcatcher which again give the melody a perfect balance. And because of that, I personally think - after watching hundreds of vids - that the Hang is best played in a duo, or in a circle where at least one that care of the bass.

I've seen men playing their Hang in a duo, but howcome there aren't any women getting together for a duo yet? Hmm...
