  • I don't have that option? Please help all I have is Tif, PSD, Portible Bit Map, Radiance and Large Document

  • i chose the maximum but when i save the picture... it sucks it's a lot lighter than it was when opened in Adobe Photoshop

  • I'm having the same problem. I think it has something to do with the color space you are working in. Any insight from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

  • no i didn't find any solution to fix that problem, but i think re-installing the program will reset the setting(s) we messed up (probably).

  • Hey Rryma... are you shooting RAW? If so I might know what could be happening. When opening a RAW image in CS3, it has no assigned colorspace yet. You mess with white bal/exp in RAW 4.0 ...or whatever it is.. then open the image in photoshop. When you leave the RAW editor and open in PS, this is when the colorspace in the image is assigned. You need to choose sRGB (Computer monitor colorspace). My default was Adobe 1998. It was at the bottom of the RAW image editor... THEN select "open in PS".

  • The sRGB color space has a smaller color gamut and is for computer monitors so it is for PC and WEB use. If you are going for pro prints.. you will want to go with a larger color gamut like Adobe 1998 because good printers can reproduce those colors. You get yourself into another mess at this point - calibration issues with monitors and printers etc...

  • Thanks a lot :D
