Oh yeah, congrats on gloves. Now we just need to get you wearing armor. Joe rocket makes a decent air mesh jacket and there are tons more out there. I may be overly cautious cause i work as carpenter and cant afford to lose days to preventable injuries. I live in humid ass DC ( got some vids out) and when stopped at red lights, i heat up pretty quick. But i like to ride hard so Lots less uncomfortable than skin grafts!

Aw man, you suck! I miss Hawaii so much. Grew up on Oahu, in-laws on Big Island, still visit Maui whenever I can -- would love to ride a dual-sport around the island! There's got to be some great riding around north shore if the property owners are cool. A video around through Hana would be fun -- especially around the south end on Pilani Hwy (dirt). Is there a way to get from Pilani to Makena (via dirt/trails) without going up to Kula highway?

Another great video. I think your camera setup is great. I like that its mounted just a little higher than eye level and centered.

Yeah, Mama's is some good eats. I also like Hailimaile general store too. Both are pricy, but good.

Video request - Ride over to Polipoil state park and ride the dirt road. Also, take your camera paragliding while you're there. A zipline trip would also be fun and some cool video. Maybe they'll take you for free since your going to video it.

@AccidentalBroadcast Yeah, the side or top of helmet mounts makes little sense to me. Why have a wide angle perspective, only to block part of it with your helmet? All the negatives of a wide angle lens without all the benefits. Of course its popular to do those mounts because its easy - other (and better IMHO) mounting options require creative solutions. Enough typing, go ride!

@ryanm100100 an early 90's Yamaha Seca II can usually be found pretty inexpensively and is a great bike to learn on.. It's a naked bike, it's a 600, it pulls but is not overly aggressive or intimidating.. And It looks pretty good for a bike you can probably find for $800-$1000usd I've had two of them and they are great.. + the motors are stupidly reliable, they will run forever even when grossly neglected..
