There is lots of new stuff, I just don't have time yet to process and post it... 300 fingerlings and 2 or 300 new fry and a female with a mouthful of eggs!
this is great, do you ever test your water for chemicals such as those from plastic etc? i would want to make sure if i was eating my own home grown fish....
@Christigoth I don't see any need to do that. Our water is from our well and we don't put anything into the system that would leach out into the water, been there done that. BTW the well water has been tested. The crickets and other small criiters that wind up in the fish tanks don't get tested.
You are doing a nice job of showing how the fish are progressing. Can you e mail me your phone number as I have a interest in tilapia. My e-mail is helpingimprovelifestyles@hotmail.com Thanks Rick.
@justj911 helpingimrovelifestyles@hotmal.com what was the out come, how big are the fish now. Thanks. Those are the fish you got from Edgar, correct. What was the male ratio. Thanks

Your water looks so clean. What type of filter do you use?
paulgem123 1 month ago
@paulgem123 We use a 3 stage homemade bio-filter and add Duckweed to the final stage.

@justj911 Real nice. do they breed very fast? If so how do you manage so many fish? Neighborhood fish fry's ! LOL
paulgem123 1 month ago
@paulgem123 They can put out 400 to 600 a month if you let them..... we 'manage' the survival rate.
