The horseshoe pass is the one of the finest places in Wales! My family go there when we go up to wales, and we come for lunch in that little restaurant on the ledge. Its awesome!
@DirtyLittleDjs , Thanks for your comment and looking at my video. In point of fact if you had looked at my video fully you would have noticed that I am only crossing the white line when I can see thru the corner fully and there are no vehicles coming, not just Bikes. If you are a biker like myself, and know that road, you will also know that many bikers use that stretch of road, and they regally use as much of the road that safely allows them to see more of the conditions and hazards.
@nigelpugh7 takes a second to miss a bike could be hidden by a bush or a small wall stick to your lane and they will stick to theres. its not a race track i ride my bike quick yeah but stick to my lane theres a difference.
i recently took part in a caterham drifting experience at silverstone. it was a great day out and as a result i absolutely love the caterham. your R500 is simply amazing and what a fantastic road to let loose.
what type of camera do you have mounted to the rollcage? i'm after something similar. thanks in advance.

Yep my R500 is lots of fun on the twisty welsh roads, its better suited to them really as its not a car to do high speeds in for a long journey!! I am using a VIO POV Motorsport Camera Setup, you will find them if you do a google search. They also do a HD version now, which mine is not!!
@ministryod10 , thanks for your comment. Sorry did not spot the BMW Estate you were referring too, did your Dad mention he had seen a White Caterham up on Horseshoe Pas that day? We get so many people wave when we are out on blasts such as these, I do always try to acknowledge people that say Hi though!!

Really like the video,I have lost count the times I have been over the pass since 1965,been over in a Royal Enfield Crusader Sport motor bike,Velocette KSS motor bike,Ford Anglia,Mk 1 Ford GT Cortina,Mk 1 Ford Escort,Mk 2 RS 2000 escort,Daewoo Nexia,and finally Ford Focus.
@SuperBadass1982 , thanks for your comments. My car is very noisy, as you can see by the ear plugs!! Most of the noise comes from the Quaife Sequential Gearbox, but you do get used to the noise after a while , and it does make for fun quick shifts too!!
@nigelpugh7 I dream about this car, really like the R500 but it's not available in Russia because of the officials asking too much money for registration. As a result, ~ 95 '000 £ or more.....
@SuperBadass1982 , thanks and do not worry about your bad english, I am sure its 200 Percent better than my Russian!!! ;-) Wow does it really cost £95,000 in your country? Does that mean they charge the same amount on top of the car in import and registration charges then? Looking on the caterham.ru page it does look like the charges are almost double the cost here in the UK!!
@Nosteratees , thanks for your comment. I actually a VIO-POV camera system .Its very versatile and the quality is good too. It comes with a wireless remote control, which make it very easy to start and stop recording and tag recordings. Its not the cheapest, but it is waterproof etc. VIO also now produce a full HD version.
@nigelpugh7 Ah right. I reckon I'll be going for something a bit cheaper. I have a feeling it'll be falling off the bike at some point. Hopefully not with me attached. Haha! Thank you for getting back to me.
@unimatrix01uk , Thanks for the comment, its seems your video suffers with the usual problems of an on camera microphone, this was one of the reasons I chose the VIO-POV system as it has a separate video head, with a separate microphone, I can then position the Mic out of the wind ( needed with an Aeroscreen!!) I actually normally have the Mic clipped behind the passenger seat, which seems to work!

stop crossing the white line. if a bike comes around them corners hard to the line u will kill him.
