Sifu is an "Old school" Southern Kungfu term for teacher.

"New School" teachers from Mainland China are commonly known as "Lao-Sher" or simply "Coach"

actually "Shifu" means master. And "Lao Shi" means Teacher/coach/ instructor.

its just a more flexible sword thats all. but just to let you know that teachers of chinese martial arts are called sifu and not sensei. sensei is for like karate and maybe other martial arts.
