  • I am glad he died old instead of a drug overdose or suicide or something.

  • 41:30 the most badass picture of johnny cash ever taken..

  • im a rap fan n i have a a jonny record

  • I love how Red House Painters are playing at 11:30 in the background. :-)

Best band most of you probably never heard.

  • i love u johnny ur soul reached the desert land of saudi arabia

  • Johnny Cash is problably the MOST versatile artist of all time, just listen to his body of work and hear the many hearts he's touched.

  • great documentary, gave me a whole new respect for the man, and his music.

  • Fucking wretched comic sans!

  • JOHN CASH IS A LEGEND ..NEVER STOP LISTENING TO THE CREATOR

  • how does Sheryl Crow finagle her way in on these shows!? Gimme' Joan Baez!

  • As I get older I miss Johnny Cash more and more each day. Dylan's words ring so true, "Johnny was and is the North Star; you could guide your ship by him." If there has ever been a musician more in touch with the full spectrum of human nature than Cash, I've yet to hear them.

  • rick rubin seriously needs to realese live at the viper room..

  • I suggest you all take a look at "The Unauthorized Biography of Johnny Cash", search for it on youtube and you shall find! This documentary is good, but that documentary is longer and way more information. Great musical talent, too bad he is gone...

  • "they said that june went on because she knew johnny wouldnt leave her, so she went first so she could wait for him" *welling up*

  • Thank you for sharing this wonderful video of Mr Johnny Cash. It was without a doubt WONDERFUL!!! I enjoyed every second of it.

  • ‘John was like the North star, you could guide your boat by him. That’s a good one’

  • BBCFour seems to be loosing funding over here in Britain to keep going, when so many GREAT music documentaries have been made ranging from Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, Motown, Miles Davis and Joy Division and its such a fucking shame. P.S the bit where he is in the viper room and June and the crowd want him to play his classics gets me!

  • Johnny you were just a real man and never lost focus of your foundation/roots. Thanks for the memories you gave me as a kid growing up in the deep south, I remember my father buying illegal 8 track tapes of your and listening to your music for hours while doing my choirs.

  • I really wish I hadn't made the below comment (like a fool) before finishing the video. It's better than the film.

  • @foiek - Although John supported the "Walk the Line" film, I happened to meet his brother Tommy a few years back, and we talked a lot about that film while Tommy was waiting for his stage cue... Tommy said that the film was not a very accurate portrayal of John , and especially the Cash family. Tommy Cash said it actually angered him the way they portrayed his father Ray Cash, as he was not the man they made him out to be... Since talking to Tommy, I do not like that movie as much anymore...

  • This documentary is almost more entertaining than the "Walk the Line" film.

  • Thank you for the upload, terrific documentary in superb quality. :)

  • BBC's stuff is always better than American doc's.

  • @SonnyDable thet have a lot of stuf wrong though

  • Johnny Cash is the only musician who makes the hair stand up on my neck.

  • great man, so sad at the end, rest in peace with your wife my man,

ONE LEGEND THAT I WILL TEACH MY KIDS.

  • @SLIMSHADY9696 I look up to Johnny Cash, I was brought up listening to him & I will always stick to his music no matter where the music industry goes, Johnny Cash is the real music!
