As I get older I miss Johnny Cash more and more each day. Dylan's words ring so true, "Johnny was and is the North Star; you could guide your ship by him." If there has ever been a musician more in touch with the full spectrum of human nature than Cash, I've yet to hear them.
johnny cash his music and story saved me and i am only 26 and one thing i learnt from him is no mater what life throws at you.YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP ON HOPE x
I suggest you all take a look at "The Unauthorized Biography of Johnny Cash", search for it on youtube and you shall find! This documentary is good, but that documentary is longer and way more information. Great musical talent, too bad he is gone...
BBCFour seems to be loosing funding over here in Britain to keep going, when so many GREAT music documentaries have been made ranging from Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, Motown, Miles Davis and Joy Division and its such a fucking shame. P.S the bit where he is in the viper room and June and the crowd want him to play his classics gets me!
Johnny you were just a real man and never lost focus of your foundation/roots. Thanks for the memories you gave me as a kid growing up in the deep south, I remember my father buying illegal 8 track tapes of your and listening to your music for hours while doing my choirs.
@foiek - Although John supported the "Walk the Line" film, I happened to meet his brother Tommy a few years back, and we talked a lot about that film while Tommy was waiting for his stage cue... Tommy said that the film was not a very accurate portrayal of John , and especially the Cash family. Tommy Cash said it actually angered him the way they portrayed his father Ray Cash, as he was not the man they made him out to be... Since talking to Tommy, I do not like that movie as much anymore...
@SLIMSHADY9696 I look up to Johnny Cash, I was brought up listening to him & I will always stick to his music no matter where the music industry goes, Johnny Cash is the real music!

I really wish I hadn't made the below comment (like a fool) before finishing the video. It's better than the film.
