  • Scandinavian/Nordic countries are the best because all the men are gay and that leaves the women for the rest of us

  • Ahh I went to Iceland it was great! No negroes:)

  • I was in Iceland this past October for the whole month. I walked up and down this street so many times. It's almost painful to watch because I really want to be there again.

  • Reykjafucked! I love this place!

  • If you would've gone a little more to the left on the sidewalk at 0:30 you would've found a tablet out of gold carved in the sidewalk. The pallet is to mark the absolutely precisely CENTER of Reykjavík ;)

  • i wanna go there next year

  • I HOPE TO GO TO ICELAND AND FIND A PURE BLOODED ICELANDIC BLONDE/ BLUE EYED NORDIC WIFE! I HAVE STRAWBERRY BLONDE HAIR AND GREEN EYES, SO WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PRODUCE SOME REALLY NICE OFFSPRING.....

  • @tomcat624u Thats a wierd C V (resume) it seems very male orientated as if you need to prove something to someone. Just curious what happened to the cattle ? did they get lonley when you were driving to san Fransico?

  • @saddamsalaugh IN ORDER TO PRODUCE SUPERIOR OFFSPRING, IT TAKES 2 SUPERIOR PARNETS! , ITS ALL IN THE GENETICS! ICELANDIC WOMEN HAVE BEEN A PURE RACE FOR ABOUT 1,200 YRS!!!!!! • I want to come back

  • haha er þetta ekki þarna Tobba Marinos gellan sem er í símanum

  • Hahaha, if I´m not mistaken, the girl who offers some lovin´ is a journalist/author focusing on how women should behave towards men, sex, nightlife, work etc. Sounds like she knows exactly what she´s talking about ? haha

  • How good would you say everyone's English speaking was when your were there? I'd love to go, but I'm worried I'd have to learn the language if I wanted to even catch a lift on a bus, let alone get to talk to alone in conversation. Plus, I wouldn't want to butcher the language either (beautiful language when you listen carefully to it BTW). I just want to know I could talk easy in English without accidentally offending anyone. :)

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies You would be surprised to know that a lot of icelanders speak English very well there. We went there twice and have not met one who don't speak English so pretty much almost everyone know English. You will do fine there. :-)

  • @seekgeo

Thanks for that, mate. Big help. Just wanted to be sure. Wouldn't mind learning the langueage, just wouldn't want it to be too much of a barrier with other people while I'm there. Anway, thanks :D

  • @seekgeo All nordic countries generally speaks good english.

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies everyone here is required to learn english. I have been living here for 5 months now as an exchange student and there really isn`t an language barrier. If you know Danish, even better, as they are required to learn that too!! Plan a trip, this place is amazing :)

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies Most, if not all people in Iceland HAVE to learn english in grade school. The younger generation is more likely to know it though.

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies everyone speak english in iceland :)

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies errr body up in here can speak english man

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies I am from Iceland and kids here are learning English at 6 years old now. You dont have to worry ;).

  • damn i like very much Iceland. i so want to visit there.

  • Er þetta ekki feita pían í djúpulauginni sem er a bjóðast til að sofa hjá einhverjum......

  • Q-bar was at Ingolfstraeti 3. It is the last side street on laugavegur before you get to laekjatorg. Now there is a pub there called Den danske kro. same owners just decided to change :)

  • is it true that on some nights the penguins walk the streets?

  • @dinkaDPB penguins only live in the southern hemisphere

  • @dinkaDPB yes, but the polar bears tend to eat them very quickly.

  • That looks very nice

  • Q Bar didnt actually go out of business, just so you know. It was closed because of creative differerences. But this video is hilarious. Especially what the girl says at 00:17. Hilarious

  • Hey olihjo, Oh that's good to know, many thanks for the info regarding Q Bar. :-D

  • @olihjo she says too her phone, I'm offering to sleep with you; whats the problem?

  • Comment removed

  • A silly question. do you remember where the gaybar is located? seems like this is in laugarvegi, near the laekjartorg?

  • Blissi18, Yep the gay bar was located on laugavegur street called Q Bar but now they went out of business a few months ago.

  • @seekgeo how sad! Santa Cruz CA gay bars have been closing down the past 5 years too. What an unfortunate trend, I hope there are as many being built elsewhere!

  • bwahahahahahaahaha..... ég er að bjóðast til að sofa hjá þér... epic

  • Bagger.......

    :)

  • Ha, 17s, framundan er vægt til orða!!, free of shame.

  • just dont let these Icelanders fool you bcs of their looks. Remember these vikings have pillage Europe for centuries and you dont want to be drunk or pass out in one of these streets. It is in their blood to party and pillage. You will have no clothes, no money, no nothing.

  • @ glasseverywhere

You're so wrong dude,, the only thing in our blood is alcohol

  • hahahhaha ''ég skil þetta ekki, ég er að bjóðast til að sofa hjá þér X''D'

'''I dont get it? I'm offering you to sleep with me'' XD

  • @LexaNeko no wounder bec is she is fat sooooo every where fat girls offer

  • my goodness people know how to party in there,

is it the same as in norway? finland? sweden or denmark?

  • haha icelandic women on the phone says (i dont understand i´m inviting you for a shag) Icelandic women are very forward

  • idiots. Iceland isn't named iceland to lead people away from it or mislead them.

  • @kaa3164 eeeeee yes it is... this viking called it Iceland in the hopes that he could keep it all to himself. Then, much later, Eiríkur Rauði (another viking, living in Iceland at the time) was turned into an outlaw... so he went exploring, hit Greenland and thought "gosh, if only my friends would come over here". So, he quickly nipped over to Iceland and told everyone how wonderful this "green" land was... so, they came over... it's true, learnt it in history as a kid - i'm icelandic y'know.

  • Og ég er líka íslendingur.

Ég skrifaði þetta fyrir 3 mánuðum og man varla hvað ég var að tala um, en ég man að þetta á við marga sem eru að commenta rugl hérna.

  • @kaa3164 en það er samt satt... þannig ://

  • Það sem þú sagðir á við grænland, ekki ísland.

  • @kaa3164 "this viking called it Iceland in the hopes that he could keep it all to himself" á semsagt ekki við ísland?

  • yeah it was iceland/greenland so they would trick people into going into greenlandi instead of iceland

  • Thestebbi? wtf are you talking about? lol Iceland' name was Thule to begin with... and i'm pretty sure the vikings named it Iceland later to lead people away from it...

  • Beautiful place, which was a part of my life for some time. Well it is still, although im no longer there...

  • Hah, "ég er að bjóðast til að sofa hjá þér" xD

    Priceless

  • þeir sem eru að commenta hérna og segja honum hvað stelpan sagði.. ekki vera steiktir, dúddinn er heyrnalaus.

  • Huh... You missed a chance at getting laid. By a hot girl from what I saw.

  • Kannski ef kauði kynni Íslensku, þá hefði hann fattað að hann gæti fengið að ríða.

  • The girl who walked past you talking on the phone at 0:17 said. Skilur þú þetta ekki? ég er að bjóðast til þess að sofa hjá þér. Do you not get it? i am offering you to sleep with me.

  • How are all those people walking and not falling? Do they have spikes on their shoes?

  • Hi River,

LOL.. good question. We almost fell a few times, I guess they get used to with icy on street. Hella, I saw a couple ran down the street with full icy and yet they didn't fall!!

    -SG

  • yeah we are pretty used to it but there are a few places where u might lose your balance and maybe fall

  • @seekgeo I went to Q-bar once and hit on girls got hit on by a guy and guess what, I didn't get any.,.,

  • just because there's ''Ice'' in the name everything is icy?

  • Kaa, good point! lol. The streets did look very icy, but I imagine it is not always like that. Sort of like when people think Canada is always cold!

  • no it was named when a viking kalled flóki sailed to the norhten shores and saw nothing but ice. it is actually quite warm, in the summer at least.

  • I am so jealous.

  • it reminds me of sf street lol

  • Very very busy streets! WOW. And it looks like people dress more fancier there?

  • Hey akaktydid, Ha.. it seems like they dress more nicer there for some reason, I guess not same the way how we dress in America? He he.

    -SG

  • aaahh! I've been wanting to go to Reykjavik

  • oh i can hear their accent...

wow its intresting, so different than america

  • Wow, I am surprised how busy it is there at 3 a.m.! I am usually asleep at 3 a.m. lol

  • Well icelandic bars don't close until about 5-6 A.M and we icelanders usualy start drinking around 10 P.M and some time's continue until the sun come's up again.. a real good party starts on a friday and ends on sunday ;)
