It`s a pain in the butt to try and get to Kreel`s cutscenes but they`re more than worth it. The man has more fun playing that character than one could possibly have playing this game and that`s a hard feat to accomplish...this game still holds a place above Ace Combat for me

the ending actually mad me very sad, when the skull mothership at the end crashes and their is a long wait to see it destroyed and crash at the bottom. kind of makes the last battle against kreel taste fantastic, but bitter because thats the end of it all.

ending 1: destroy Kreel by using normal weapons. Kreel dies, but your "base" is destroyed by his canister. you are alive.

ending 2: destroy Kreel by using YOURSELF. get into his mouth, kamikaze-style. be aware, it's dangerous, and it can be done right after the beginning of the battle. you die, Kreel dies, and your base is safe :)

ending 3: just discovered a few months ago... destroy Kreel by EJECTING (press Triangle+Square+Circle+X) right into his mouth. everyone is safe and Kreel dies :)

I remember there was basicly three different endings. You got the best one where you eject before flying into Kreel. The bad ending is where you just fire missles at Kreel and he launches a red mercury missle at the commander's ship befoe dying, killing her and the crew. The other ending is just flying into Kreel without ejecting and Hatch and Walker become martyers.

This game was made of win, one of my favorite if not my favorite launch title on the PS1.

Yea graphics are pretty weak by today's standards but this game looked pretty sweet back then. At least the soundtrack still holds up, and the FMVs were so bad they were funny.

Boy, was Kreel creepy. He reminds me of Satan himself. This is where I started having trouble with the game, starting with the volcano base fight. And it only got harder from there, with Kreel being difficult. Interesting ending.

they can always add a downloadable single player later through a upgrade. they can even do that with psp games. they added a entire online mutiplayer mode onto killzone liberation for the psp after the game wuz already out. you jus downloaded it for free. so theres no reason they couldnt do this with warhawk
