Sorry, "Streets of San Francisco" isn't number one in my books -not catchy or memorable at all.Number one ? Gotta be the theme from " The Rockford Files" which was actually released on a very popular 45rpm ( ask your parents) back in the day ! :)

A lot of these I didn't watch, but 1. Ironside, 2. Rockford, 3. Starsky and Hutch, 4. Hawaii 5-O definitely have the coolest themes.

Hey man what about clone fighters. I didn't see that theme song. I mean that was the coolest 70s show back in the day. Just look it up it's the coolest. Although 6 million dollar man was cool too
