Oh man, what a scary thing to go through! Thank you for sharing with us, and for staying positive in the face of some crappy stuff. You're awesome!! :-) (Also, I loooove Cinnamon Toast Crunch.)
Wow thank you for sharing so personal. I too have had many operations, nothing as serious as cancer but I am a wee bit insecure about my scares on my chest and on my back. It's not quite so lumpy now. You sound so positive about your illness and that's cool cos it won't get the better of you that way.
fantastic video, it's great you can share this with us, I understand it can be very hard but I and i'm sure from reading everyone else's comments are very proud and happy you did. Thanks
... also Transformers and "pow peeooww"-ing is awessssome
thanks for being so brave! my brother has had cancer twice now (2 different kinds) and it's hard to explain to people what it does to you emotionally... glad you're doing ok!
What an amazing vlog and what a way to kick your insecurity in the butt! Owning our insecurities is the first step to eliminating them, I think. So brave of you to share this with us and I think it's beautiful that you appreciate who your experiences have made you.
Thank you for sharing this, this was a great video. Going through that experience so young gives you something special -- you've got more worldly wisdom than a lot of other people. So while the issue is sensitive, you should know you have grown to be more awesome for living with and learning from it.
@nicopolitan thank you for being so kind! i do feel like I've learned a lot from cancer, but I never know how to talk about it without freaking people out!
Gangstuhs walk with a limp, pimps do too. I heard thugs love cinnamon toast crunch & twitter. All joking aside, great video. I love that you shared that because I feel like little by little I'm getting to know you more and more! After VEDA we have to stay in touch! *tweet tweet*
@buyography you are so great! I love watching your videos and we will definitely have to keep in touch! I'm going to be in Utah in september! FIND ME ON TWITTER! <3
i worked in the cancer industry for the past four years. i have close friends who have made it a point to talk about their diagnosis as much as possible, to inspire people to raise money for a cure and show them what a survivor looks like. but i also have a mother who only refers to the period of time that she was undergoing chemo for her cancer as "when i was sick" and would never speak to a group of people about her experience. basically...thank you for sharing this. you are brave.
@kimmy213 I fluctuate between both of those. I either talk about it and then feel like I freak people out so I stop talking about it at all and often refer to it as "when i was sick." Thank you for your kindness!
Captain Ashley sent me a link to this video.. wow lady. Thank you so much for sharing this.. it's a BIG thing to talk about. I love that you ended the video with 3 things that make you happy. I'm just so in awe of you right now. You're amazing.
Chelsie, you are one of the strongest people I know. I love your scar, it's a sign of a trial you went through and came out stronger in the end. Transformers, of course. ;] I love you, Chels!
I'm very late catching up on my videos, but I just wanted to comment and say thank you so much for sharing this. You are amazing!
