How lovely that they show him playing as a little boy while he's describing the butterfly opening and closing its wings. Neil is one of those people you want to just fold up in your arms.
This is the tough point about Neil - probably understands more about the nature of what life means, than any of the others - has more reasons to be philosphical about life as he probably has not lived it the way he would have liked when he was much younger.
Maybe it's because he had the least to lose but he was by far the most adept at self-analysis and eloquent in speech and thought of the group. I'd like to read his plays.

I remember 28up when i was 12 and my dad felt so sorry for this man. I'm glad he has found some peace. You can tell he is very intelligent.
