  • Great footage. I would be scared to death at this point. Trust the equipment I guess. It's interesting how well Soyuz has performed over the years especially considering the disaster of Soyuz 1 which cost the life of Vladimir Komarov. They made serious managment changes and worked hard to rectify the problems. Solid engineering and astute managment has brought their space programme to where it is today especially with regard to safety and reliability.

  • was that recorded on the ground or on the iss??

  • from ISS.

  • awsome

  • Russia remains good in space sciences.

  • @daltonagre just don't try sending anything to Mars...

  • cool... I wonder how was it look inside the soyuz during the re-entry..

  • I saw a great interview with Jeff Williams where he described it. Also Anousheh Ansari's blog is very good. I think its one of those things where you had to be there.

  • She had a great blog. She says that space smells like a "burnt almond cookie"

  • @Kingfordian22 That smell is the same as hydrogen cyanide. Maybe a failed assassination-attempt in the ISS by the CIA?

  • @Kingfordian22 how the hell do you smell space

  • @y890x Space isn't a total vacuum. There's still tiny particles floating around. When someone goes EVA, these will stick to the suit. The smell has been described as being like burnt meat.

  • Really, has anybody seen a video from the inside of the Soyuz during the re-entry? I searched very hard, but I couldn't find.

  • @rubberkrass propably the crew is too busy at this moment to make videos ^^
