Don't get me wrong, I LOVE VLogs from REAL ppl like you. However, you might want to edit out the "dead air" spots to make your vids run more smoothly! :) Great story, though!
Oh no dude, you bailed?! Lol, I'm sure the other guys were steamed. Still, I understand why you dropped the class. After all, those courses are suppose to serve your educational needs and when they fail to deliver, you should have the option to "get a refund", if it isn't working out. Making you pay reguardless would have been them screwing you over twice.
Everyone has one of those 'out there' professors. What a shame that you would have to pay to listen to that. All the poor students that probably gave up on their dreams of becoming English Ed majors because of having to write about wallpaper. :(
Anyone who had the dream of English Ed most likely soaked it all up like a sponge then proceeded to teach their first English Comp courses like creative writing courses. Terrorizing freshmen all over the world. :)
awh my physics lecturer was soooooo bad last year, for the last month before the exams we went to another class so we could actually learn! and it really paid off cuz i got an A! but now im in the next year of physics, same crap lecturer, and the other guy we went to doesnt teach at that level.....hmmmmm!
Your story just proves your instincts were probably correct too. Not all teaching styles mesh with everyone. Your crazy English teacher has an approach that probably melds with some people who like to describe wall paper :D

When I finally did finish my second English Comp class I had the confidence that the reports I created for work and the papers I created for my degree were quality products.
yes, most of my stuff nowadays is on LiveVideo(dot)com/harveylocust! mainly just watch and comment here. never really found much of an audiance on youtube.
we have that grade'n system in university but not in high school (we call high school college in new zealand) its good when you get good lecturers it makes all the difference!
DOC missed ya... my english professor was a wacko he was from india we couldnt understand a word he was sayin majority of the time and his stuff was weird he told me everything i wrote was wrong and ridiculous.. i took my stuff to another and he was like your stuff is perfect.. i hated taking english
Oh god, I'm in EN001, and I'm already hating it. Basically like you said, we have to write about bs lol.
