@GumMagnum nope the old m60 was infamous for it they had to carry several barrels to replace them, they FAL is similair as only the heavy barreled variant is built to fire on full auto, light barreled ones would have the barrel melt

It's not that people don't appreciate it, t is just limited unlike the online features which have almost endless customisation and unlocks.

Like before bad company, the 'single player' was just against bots in the multiplayer matches :P Thats why the BF fans would focus on multiplayer, but otherwise you're right. Development obviously goes into all parts of the game but in the end it comes down to the preference of the consumer.
