Alice was a character created just like every caracter of the game. but she was the one selected to be the main character of all the movie series, because if the movies were about the characters from the game they would be boring... and if there was a game where u have to play as alice and the game was related directly to the movies it would be boring too... so stop hating the movies..

I just saw this movie today 9-21, and i have to say this third installment is as good as the first two were. Extinctions follows up right were they left off, and it develops the plot in a more interesting twist. It's a must see for those who follow the franchise and a recommendation to those looking for a good scary adrenaline rush.

I don't know is in USA the movie start on thusrday or friday ( i'm saying this cause I dont want people said we know that idiot) And is wow some much action for the begging to the end and the tyrant is cool ( nemesis is better) the only bad thing is that alot of people died ( survivors) The psychic power that alice and the _ _ _ _ _ _ has was ok (i thougth I was waching a dbz movie) lol and yes is going to be a 4th movie! This movies are only adaptations and I don´t liked. The movies are very goods but there's no resident evil, only adaptations. Where's Chris, Wesker, Barry, Rebecca, Tyrant, the spiders, William, Ada, Leon? Resident Evil is horror, not action.

it isn't new york, it's las vegas. that liberty statue is a replica in front of the new york new york hotel & casino in vegas :) as for the apparent desert landscape, i'm guessing that umbrella or some military group bombarded the city with napalm, nukes or whatever. and since vegas is in the desert, the aftermath of the explosions must have caused sandstorms or some shit. anyway, u get the picture :)
