It's a synthesized version of an auto harp. Another name for it is the Q-CHORD. I know THE MAE SHI uses one in the RUN TO YOUR GRAVE version they did for THEY SHOOT MUSIC. It's on YouTube if you wanna hear what it can sound like by itself.
