  • Omg so annoying, If you only had a tongue

  • x.x so many buttons...cant there just be one button that reads your mind?

  • ¿Cuantos euros vale en España?????

  • ¿Cuantos euros vale en España?

  • Hey, where's the other guy?

  • Fuck the blah blah idiot! Why don't you play the piano?

  • @velgean you are idiot not me ok? and yes I play the piano:DD!!

  • please tell me any song you've played the piano in this video, thanks.

  • please tell me any song you've played the piano in this video, thanks.

  • What is the name of the first song that he is playing....:)...?

  • Sounds better than a real piano...

  • @immaculatus I'm not quite sure you'd watch a demonstration video of such an advanced instrument and them comment this way. Many people actually enjoy themselves. I'd advise you to try and do the same. If you personally don't have the money, talent or either to enjoy this hobby, perhaps you can try paper airplane building. For those that know, this instrument is one of the best out there and worth the money.

  • @immaculatus Then, only rich people can play one.

  • Amasing pianiste Peter Baartmans

    It's verry good song =)

    Fantastic Piano

  • superb grand piano voice...

  • muy bueno

  • The Clavinova is great and I also have a Motif XF8.

  • That looks NICE :D

  • You are an amazing pianist Peter. Yes, I have one of the Cvp- 509 series and I agree with one of the comments bellow. It is worth every penny. I wish I had one of these growing up. I am a classically trained pianist. But really not good at improvising. For kids who are not afraid trying and playing around it is a great tool to learn improvisation and really opens their musical mind.

I am a big fan of Yamaha clavonova. Thank you for the video.

  • Got mine a week ago....And It is well....INCREDIBLE. As a recording artist it allows me to record my own songs in my own time. Although this range is discontinued, Idont think you can really say that the 5 series is all that better. The CVP409 is still considered an industry standard,

  • when he lifted the lid i thought i the star treck enterprise emerging

  • "mahoeganey" :')

  • It sounds very ..... Yamaha.

  • @ukorganist nicely put ;-)

  • It seems to play everything except concert piano sound!

  • @SongsofInnocence So what does it mean?

  • SI NO HUBIERA SIDO POR QUE TOMA AIRE EL SAXOFONISTA ,SI ME LE HUBIERA CREIDO ;O, TAMBIEN TIENE EFECTOS DE ( aspiración) EL TECLADO ...

  • CAN YOU CHANGE KEYS on this. I mean- will it change keys by hitting a tab or button?

  • @StuartLou Hi Stuart - its called transposing and yes I would imagine it will - every other Yamaha piano since the 90's has this facility.

  • I dont like it. its sounds too much like a saxophone.

  • so great.. but this kind of things a long time ago stopped being a musical instrument for being a machine, peter is a good pianist, but looks like a DJ too playing this

  • Exactly what I want!

  • ...But can he stop rocking back and fourth when he talks?

  • @phazonxl For some reason, it seems like these scripted presentations always end up making the presenter look really awkward. Much better when the presenter is simply talking in his own words rather than reciting a script.

  • This video persuaded me to buy my CVP 409!! I love it and I use it all the time for writing my original songs which I upload to Youtube. Thanks Peter!! Andy :)

  • omg!!!! i want this!!!!, how much is it??

  • What a fantastic video and what a guy. This is an awsome piano and I'll be buying one for my hotel.

  • o.O If it doesn't make me a toast while i play, I wont buy it!

  • hi! i always like your videos. when are you going to do the demo for the CVP 505PM?

  • Kindly help me

    Hope for early reply

    Thanx

  • i want to know basic difference between acoustic piano, digital piano, hybrid piano, digital keyboard and synt and workstations in detail.

All these have piano and I am confused which product I should buy.

I need a piano (88 keys) with advanced tech and feature (latest one), more styles ,more rythms, etc but these terms confuse me that whether I should buy digital piano or synth or workstations.

If I want to compose a song then which piano or synth or workstation I should buy.

  • how much is this in the philippines?

  • Does anyone know what song does he sing and play at 12:02 ?

  • can anyone be so generous to tell me the song title at 2:38? also, does anyone know which model of clavinova that has the exact piano quality of cvp-409 but with less functions and cheaper price? thank you so much

  • haha, a piano with a lan port

  • Sweet Jesus...

  • wow i love dis .. this changes my mind to this piano...

  • How much is this? Looks expensive...

  • @teresahan1991 I am not sure the CVP 409 model is still available. The Grand Piano version of the 409 is less than 7000 GBP right now.

  • i have it it's a really good piano i luv it <3

  • I think he's from the Netherlands

  • omg

  • hahahaaa that pauses hahaha

  • not sure what's "classical" about 3:40, but yeah, sounds great

  • I use the CVP 409 to compose all my original songs. It is a great musicians companion.

  • Awesome e-piano! I also own a Clavinova but an older model. Love the different music styles.

  • Sweeet

  • @thuckz You ARE kidding arent you? Get this if your serious.

  • this is a synth+a piano

  • Love the way he speaks!

  • whats the first piece he played called?

  • Stupendoooo! *_*

  • I'm lucky enough to have one of these babies at my Church. It's SUCH a cool instrument! The old folks don't always like when I use the Styles, but it's a REALLY impressive machine, and it makes me look good :P

  • ma cara la wea de piano T_T

  • It has nothing to do with an acoustic piano. Just a nice entertainment.

  • Well is not just another cheap keyboard since it costs about 6000$. And it sounds really good

  • I HAVE IT!! =D ( since today ^^ )

  • sounds beautiful...*

  • i love those keys..... woo.

  • SO NICE!!!!!!!

  • i want to have one but they're so expenisive..... :/

  • es terrible jaja

  • Great accent from Peter! And what a

    great instrument!

  • WOW I WANT IT! :)

  • show off......jk

  • The wind instrument voices sound horrible.

  • Die Jeans würde mir jetzt als einziges an diesem wirklich eindrucksvollen Vortrag nicht gefallen :-))

  • His native language is German, it seemed like he had a hard time saying and remembering all that in English.

  • Jesus pls! help me to get this the best piano....

  • Holy S... !

  • anyone know how much you can get a cvp 401 for in california?

  • aaahhh..the jazz/blues are so nice. i'm feeling lying besides the seashore...

  • 10 years is 100 years in technology time

  • japan :)

  • wat i do know is yamaha is a famous japan brand :D

  • I think only the japanese would have the skill & craftsmanship to manufacture this piano

  • im gettin me one of those 10/10!!!

  • Jesus, I want this

  • @Shazbut01 you shall have it my son.... or daughter (whatever the case may be)

    :D

  • @Shazbut01 I just got the 509. Worth every penny.

  • @DoctorAwesomeWSU Is yours a higher version than CVP 409? What are the differences?

  • @MaCarmenCarmelita Yeah the 400series were discontinued. The 500 line is the "bigger and better" line. There are a lot of differences mostly just improvements. Bigger amplifiers. things like this. Im sure you can google for the spc sheets for both and compare. I don't know everything off the top of my head. I do know it was expensive but plays better than most acoustic grands I've played. The graded hammer action is incredibly fast and smooth. Great synthetic ivory feel for friction.

  • @DoctorAwesomeWSU I have the cvp-501 and it's pretty the same

  • i like how he says mahogany

  • What is the name of the first song he played?

  • Please think in south america customers I don`t know where buy......Yamaha products digital pianos

  • @paranormaalutrecht The sounds in this model are much better than those that you would find in a cheap keyboard. The Piano sound might be similar, but it's still better. The many other sounds are of a much higher quality also.

  • I've got a 301. I'd kill for this one, it's amazing.

  • was the $ on the cvp 409

  • Comment removed

  • I wish I have enough money for it.

  • about 3300 euros. Like 2900 or more dollars

  • meu deus do ceu esse é o meu piano em nome de jesus

  • what?? Really?! In Portugal is 8300 :o

  • It is a great piano. I paid $10,500.00

  • i have bought the 405.

    Fantastic instrument

  • yamaha 407 ,geweldig instrument

  • Hi everyone, i've just bought the CVP-403 at a Yamaha piano fair in Singapore. Cost was about S$3599 including free headphones, bench and additional 1 year warranty. Btw, S$1 is about 2.5 to 3 GBP or US$1.5 to 1.8 Is this a good price?? :-)

  • how much is this?

  • SUPERB!!! WISH TO HAVE ONE...

  • I cant believe this is a piano.

  • so is his left hand like an accopaniment.? does he push a button and selcet a style/type to go along with the instrument he picked?

  • That's my dream piano!! oh~ CVP-409!!!

  • I record all my songs with this

  • what the hell, its called a 409, why doesnt it give you 409 accompaiments!!?? Not 408... pff

  • ANYONE KNOWS how much cost the 409 pls ? in euros

  • about 6500 euro

  • in Portugal it costs over 3000 euros .

  • I am not sure but it can go from 5000 to 5500 euros...

  • I want one of those I WANT ONE!!!

  • waw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PETER N1!!!!!!!!!

  • Gotta go get me one of these, sounds fantaskstic!

  • wow awesome sounding

  • Best Yamaha-Presenter

  • Peter Baartmans is my hero :)

  • I've played on it for about a 1/2 an hour at a shop in London and I was simply amazed by the quality of piano sound in particular and also other sounds like strings are just great. I own a Korg PA1x and I thought it has the best piano and strings, but this one I think is far better.

  • Yes Christian, you are absolutely right about the quality of the sounds. However, it sounds even better when linked to an AMP - the guitars, especially Super Articulation electric guitars are amazing. Tremolo Strings are another amazing sound - you press the left pedal and suddenly you have the basis for a score for a tightly directed movie!

  • WOW

if you know to play piano, than it seems that you know to play on everything

  • Actually the piano is the root of all instruments. If you learn how to play the piano then it is much easier to learn any other instruments. Piano has buried within it the root of music in general. If you learn to play it you can understand any instrument. That's why i wish i stayed in lessons as a kid.

  • Not the root of percussion instruments such as the drums :)

  • piano IS a percussive instrument...think of it as 88 hammers. great pianists can be the percussion, melody, and harmony at the same time.

  • Let's get this straight.

The piano is EASY to play...

BUT the piano is DIFFICULT to play well.

Please, don't come here and make comments like that. Some people just prefer to stick to one instrument.

  • i played guitar for about a year, and i had trouble understanding it. then i got a piano, and after a couple months with a piano, i started to understand how melody's and such formed on the guitar. so yeah. learning piano helps learning other instruments.

  • And if you read correctly he says "it seems". Not "you can"!

  • Someone knows the name of the first song played by Peter? I've listened it before but i don't remember the name. Thanks

  • most reason why poeple list the prices as in euros its because this instrument is relatively new in america but i know there is one company in florida that has hundreds of clavinovas. an average price towards any clavinova will be over 4000 dollars.

  • Im in love

  • duz anybody know how much the CVP 403 costs please REPLY

  • around 6000 0r 8000. those are recommended prices by yamaha. but retailers will bring down to 5000 about. we were lucky enough to have the vp there at the store when we bout ours so he brught down to 4000. cant blame them. awesome sound

  • Wow the guitar sound sounds phenomenal, and I was completely blown away by the saxophone voice, I already purchased a CVP 403 myself...getting it delivered tomorrow. 403 sounds amazing, couldnt believe it but you have to hear it in person.

  • The big band trumpet is AMAZING!! I'm really impressed, as a trumpet player myself.

  • strings sux as always.) lets wait some more 10 years to see the result

  • for those who watch this video and
