stomach sleeper here lol. Funny enough, I had the worst headache of my life a couple months ago and could not fall asleep, I was writhing in pain, so I tried sleeping the pencil way with my head turned to one side and my headache went away so I slept for an hour!! It came back when I got up though. I have scoliosis so I'm wondering if turning my head against the direction of my curve cut off or restricted blood to my head or something? I have no clue lol but it worked
I have trapezius pain, a lot, and get headaches because of it... I know they come from the back because I can touch the part of my neck back that gives me the headache.
It all started after sleeping in a very hard mattress for a few months... after 3 years I am in chronic pain.
Hey, I've recently decided to sleep on the floor (roll up mat) instead of a mattress. Is this bad for my posture and back? Any negative long term effects that this will cause?
@1bRaHiMov1c There are many, and conflicting opinions on this subject. I believe that sleeping on your back without a pillow can be good, especially if you have a rolled up towel, or roll under your neck. As for side sleeping, I think it is a mistake, and it it probably a good Idea if sleeping on your stomach so your body is on an angle rather than flat with your head turned. Hope that helps, but the best way is the way you are most comfortable, and wake without discomfort.
God bless you. Seriously. My shoulder and neck have so much pain I can't sleep at times but this helps. However I hate with a PASSION my temperpedic bed. Worst thing I have ever had. It's even adjustable. yet I sleep on the couch often >.<
Great video. I am a side sleeper, mostly on my right side. I do have a lot of shoulder pain, and sometimes feel like my arm is numbed up. I never really thought about trying it this way and will give it a shot, thanks!
I would love for the guy in the video to be my pillow :-)
