I just checked the gun laws for Ohio, I can buy whatever I want! Lol can have like over 50 guns, don't need no permit to carry/have/buy a rifle and no anything. All u need the permit for is to carry a handgun concealed :)

to keep and bear arms does not mean i go buy a gun and then put it in my closet lock it up and never take it out of the closet again! thats just fine if you never leave youre house.but we do sometimes go outside our house ,that is where the ,,,bear arms comes in ,all states and i mean all 50 should only require a background check and a simple firearms instruction course and after that any law abiding citizen should be issued a carry permit .anything more complicated then that is unconstitutional

I second that GODan...I'm from "the dictitorial empire" New York where the judges/licensing officers are free to do what they want without recourse. If you check out "2nd amendment in NYS" right here on You tube you will see what I mean.
i got an appointment today at 3 :), turned 18 on feb 14th, iv heard this one before idk if its true but you can be 18 with a rifle permit but 21 with a handgun permit is this true? and if it is why? is it because the rifle is larger and more harder to conceal.
and does 4yr personal protection mean i can carry my weapon in my holster? or keep it in your car or house?

@warblerab Why would I get stopped by the cops when I am carrying a weapon? I am on my best behavior when I am armed and there would be no reason for me to get harassed by law enforcement. Plus, "It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6." In more and more states you will see it become legal to carry weapons WITHOUT a permit. That's the way it is supposed to be.

Don't want to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the insane? I'm not trying to say shouldn't have a gun, just the you should only have one with a permit. Carry a gun without a permit is illegal, end of story.

It will take some time but all stats will follow. When the first ani-gun laws came out was when the people should have stood their line, now it's way to late. The Constitution is just a piece of paper, one day it will be rewritten and 100 years later everyone will forget they ever had any rights.

Actually in several states including Vermont, Alaska, and soon to be Virginia, you don't need a special "permit" to have loaded guns with you.
