Let's say, if two characters have the same moves, but one character has stronger moves, faster moves, longer range, and better recovery. If you pit the two characters against each other for 100 matches at the same level of skill, the character with the better attributes will win about 75% of the time. That is an advantage.

You can win with Link vs Metaknight, it's just objectively unlikely

It's hard to say that anyone ever has "mastered their character completely" because you can pretty much always get better.

Either way, Gimpyfish is someone that "raelly LOVEs to play ONE charackter", and he's pro, but he never wins in big tournaments because Bowser is at a serious disadvantage. Taj is great too, but his character is still bad.

I guess you lost the "bet". Love does not equate skill or whatever. It is third-grader logic. Don't argue if you don't know how.

@GoodOldN1ghty Theoretically, yes. You can always get better with any character and you can beat everyone with the worst character, but you would have the be leagues ahead your competitors in terms of skill.

Look at "Scorpion Master" for example. He uses Mario and wins some tournaments. But he's pretty much the best player in the world and plays other characters arguably better.

The thing is that some characters win over others when in a similar realm of skill.
