Some of the best dancers today dance & teach in skinny pants. Being too strict takes the fun out of it. I've been taught: dance in whatever gear you feel comfortable, when it's not a competition.

You know, this is a really great video and these folks are fun dancers to watch. But dear god people, leave the skinny jeans OFF the dance floor. They look ridiculous being lindy hopped in, especially as this dance was developed in a time of skirts and SLACKS, and the MOVEMENTS of the dance even reflect that (switches, swivels, susie Qs? - they MOVE fabric and the fabric enhances the move in return - its a symbiotic relationship!).
