Uli i was wondering were you got your tabs. I cant read orignal tabs i need moden tabs. Im downloading the song now and just need to know the tabs. I mite play it at a gig so send me the URL if you can oh and is it standed tuning or drop c or d? and do you recon a standed GA-20 Aston amplifer can play this song with an electric Ashton star guitar with modified pickups can play this?
OR... GET THIS! You could just LEARN it by EAR just like HE did. Only lamers and babies need tabs. Real players can pick it out by ear, or read the sheet music... and truly studly players can do both.
I'm back for another listen. I like this very much. Hanging with Tuck takes courage and you made it work. Have you tried any of Martin Taylor or Tommy Emmanuel arrangements? If you would like to I have some transcriptions of their arrangements that you may enjoy playing.
Hi Allen ... thanks for your offer of transcriptions but I have them too ... A Tommy Emmanuel song is probably a good idea for another video some day.
I posted an interpretation of his recording of "Mona Lisa". My finger style is horrid so in addition to changing some harmony I adapted it for hybrid pick/finger style. Check it out when you have some time.
I'm playing a Jim Kelley 30/60 Reverb amplifier...the guitar is indeed a Joe Pass Emperor II with modified pickups (Seymour Duncan Jazz Model SH-2) and D'Angelico nickel roundwound strings.
You have a great tone. Do you mind if I ask what sort of amp you are using, and why type of stings you have on your guitar (it looks like you are playing a Joe Pass Emperor II, is that right?)
very nice, the beginning seemed kinda fast though
