  • @mrlittleroots1 Why?

  • Comment removed

  • @mrlittleroots1 That's not an explanation; it makes less sense than what I was originally asking about.

If speaking of coming back from traversing the underworld makes it so you have never been there then no one has ever spoken of it, therefore this rule, which is spoken, can not be true of the underworld.

Which proves only one thing, you don't know anything. Your "explanation" proves it even further.

If your mind can tolerate it, then I do understand, with humility, that you are acting stupid.

  • I guess its safe to say organized religion is the easy way out.

  • tell em straight forward mr toddlesbycanoe did you take psilocybin? did you make cedier tea? live off the land? i'm ojibwa and i am a shaman and i think this is funny, so disrespectful. you cant learn shamanism you wouldn't want to if you really knew what it meant. you first have to get really sick or loose your mind completely a real spirit quest then once you heal yourself you learn how to heal others a lot of people die trying to become shaman. lol this edge group seems silly why bother?

  • @marleycake Th intention of this program is not to create Shamans, but to awaken our memory of what it means to live as one with the earth and all of life. Through Shamanic Journeying and connecting with our helping spirits we are changing and growing, which is what we are all being asked to do at this time. Within a powerful supportive circle we discover and share the gifts we came to this world to share, for our world needs all of our gifts now.

  • my grandpa is a shaman ...he practises in venezuela he has actualyy send me in the world with protection spirits ...my mother is a reader ....and i have seen hear and feel all kind of paranormal stuuf such as seeing orbs with naked eye above waters...

  • There are way too many negative comments in reaction to this clip. Enough of the criticism. Let others seek their path without you being threatened, without your ego needing to subdue others.Let others discern the truth of their own way.

  • @mustardbush Wise words. Thank you.

  • What is the native name for the "shaman" in that area? I hate to use the word shaman because it seems to be anthropologically assigned, and can mean different things for different communities and cultures.

  • DID THAT OLD MAN CHOP ALL THAT WOOD? :O

  • shaman is not something you can become you are born this way and if you ever meet a real shaman maybe he will share his tools with you so you can learn to use what you where born with

  • that guy has some serious possession issues you can see them flicker

  • This is laughable, you cant market shamanism. This is good for folks who need friends and authorize guidance.

  • you need nothing but yourself.... and some fungi friends ;)

  • this would be amazing..so intriguing. how do you get into this? anyone knows msg me

  • 1 course in Shamanism? This isn't the stuff of college classes or degrees. It seems like this noble tradition is being treated like just another piece of capital product. By result, you only achieve a perversion whereby students of a particular teacher will bitch & moan and argue, and call themselves more "pure" than students of another school. The final swallowing & digestion of Shamanism by the fallacies of the ignorant New Age. I bet some of those "Shamans" are "straight edge" too...

  • @void212 Said perfectly

  • total bullshit. This is exploitation of desperate people. Not to mention trying to use techniques that are given to the individual by god. not by a shitty-ass seminar. Cheapen a divine right for certain individuals who truly earn it. girl in red is pretty hot though

  • @crowkangi

Given by god? That is total bullshit.

  • The old guy has a Spirit Attachment, I wonder if anyone has the ability to remove it?!?!?!?

  • a spirit attatchment?

  • @absorbedlotus

Did you see that aswell ?

  • @getl0st I WISH THEY COULD REMOVE IT

  • the old man seems a nervous wreck

  • @DutchCourageWhoohoo maybe he doesnt like cameras i always feal uneasy infront of cameras take it out and i relax a great deal just a thought

  • wannabes

  • I don't know if you can 'learn' Shamanism.. You can learn trance, ritual, communicating with spirits, etc., but to be a Shaman you need to serve a community. I'd like to know what these people go on to do.

  • Indeed, being a part of a community in the practice of shamanism is vital. Many folks come to this training with a certain knowing, experience or appreciation for the way spirit works in their lives. Learning the practice of healing and assisting others in a community setting is a big need in the world today and that's where shamanic practitioners can make a difference.

  • @apapat I agree.

One must be called to Shamanism....to deny the calling is a certain madness.

I too would like to see what communal processes they have undertaken since.

  • @apapat MY MOM KNEW A SHAMAN THAT WENT TO SCHOOL HE BECAME A BIG TRIBALL JOKE

  • @apapat

There's a difference between Shamanism (for lack of a better word) and being a Shaman. One can be a 'Shamanist' without being a Shaman. It's really just terminology.

  • Advanced ? Who decides whether something or someone is advanced ?

Things just can't be ordinary these days can they ? They have to be a bit special, everyone has to be advanced or a master.

    Charlatanism I'd say.

  • ayahuasca?

  • @fifh89 Stropharius Cubensis?

  • i should hope so!

  • your a dumbass man, check out some Terence Mckenna vids

  • hahahahahaha

  • I go to school in Ottawa.. hmm I wondering if I could get ahold of that girl in the red this seems really interesting

  • Coyote Craftchick...? If that's a Native American name, I highly doubt she had a naming ceremony. If she didn't... that's very disrespectful.

  • @Romanorum how is it disrespectful? You can call yourself anything you want. If I wanted to change my name to Tree or Silvery Moon Seeker or Coca Cola, it has nothing to do with anybody else or any culture (even if they happened to use it before me).

  • @staceybaj My perspective is coming from a strict Lakota perspective. Names have a very different meaning, and how they are obtained is very different as well. If she is passing that off as an "Indian name", from a Lakota perspective, it's disrespectful.

  • why rudeness? ever?

    I understand jokes hah, but...

  • I really dig that girl in red, what a cool chick

  • Yeah, she's really hot too.

  • Yeah, Canada has some prime vag.

  • Oh. Hehe Northern Edge Algonquin, Ontario, Canada

  • Hm, interesting. I am from Edmonton as well. It'd be nice to know where this is.

  • where is this? I noticed kieth was from edmonton.. is it close to red deer?

  • Coyote Craftchick.....uh huh.....keeping the 60s alive, I see.
