I hope that by the time you do join the USMC, you'll have grown up a bit and learned a little more about the world. The M16 has been exported to over 95 countries around the world. Those countries didn't "copy" the M16, they purchased them or received them as aid. Israel makes its own rifles, but the majority of their soldiers use the M16 because it's a lot cheaper than their Galils.

The Royal Marines and the Korps Mariniers are both over a hundred years older than the USMC and don't have any amphibious fire-support vehicles. The USMC doesn't have any "tanks that run on water" either, they've got AAVPs armed with 40 mm AGLs. and .50 cals Those aren't tanks, they're amtracs. The PMC's V300s on the other hand are amphibious and are armed with 90 mm guns. They aren't tanks either, but they give decent fire-support in an amphibious package.

Then your book is either wrong or incomplete. Portuguese Marines existed from 1621 onwards. French Troupes de marine from 1622 and French Fusiliers Marins from 1627. After the Dutch Marines, there's the San Marco Regiment from 1713 and Russia has had naval infantry since 1705. There are over 50 countries with Marines. I hope you grow out of your youthful arrogance if you ever manage to become a Marine because you're probably going to be training with Marines of many other nationalities.

The only wars the Philippines has participated in since independence in 1946 are the Korean and Vietnam War. On both occassions, the Philippines answered the United States call and did not act to serve its own interests.

The AFP has won multiple victories against the MILF, MNLF, NPA and Abu Sayyaf, but it takes more than military victories to quell an insurgency. Read the book "Kauswagan to the Fall of Camp Abubakar" if you want to learn something.

The Philippine Marines' Dress Blues do not contain a blood stripe. They wear white trousers. The U.S. Marines have had red piping on their trousers since 1798. The Battle of Chapultepec was in 1847. Countless other uniforms feature red piping.

In the event that the Philippine Marines did want to put red piping on their pants to honour their dead, what's it to you? You've never been in combat.

yes they do have the blood stripe on their pants look at the video the general has red stripes on his pants and the the U.S. Marines did not have that since 1798 they had a Blue uniform not the Dress blues and they did not have the blood stribe and how are you telling me about the military of the country i live in okay and dont argue my best subject is history and watch videos on the marines on youtube watch the pbs special on the USMC and wach the military channel about the USMC ON YOUTUBE

Clearly you don't know enough about the USMC. The National Museum of the Marine Corps website is one of many sources that state that USMC uniforms have had red piping down the side of the trousers long before the Battle of Chapultepec. Google "Lore of the Corps".

The red piping on Gen. Martir's service uniform trousers aren't blood stripes. Look up the uniforms of cadets from Sandhurst and the École Polytechnique if you're somehow deluded that red piping is unique to the USMC.

Then remain ignorant if you will. The fact that you live in the U.S. and you're a U.S. citizen doesn't make you an authority on the U.S. Military, or any other military for that matter.
