I might be disappointed with the Democratic Party at times, but i'd rather die than join the Republican party with all its hate mongering spending way too much time on gay issues and abortion. If you have an alternative, that is moderate and in between liberal and republican, I'd join but I won't join a party that has been hijacked by fundie wackos.

@cjs33139 You don't need to join the Republicans. The majority of their leadership wants bigger government too. That's what the tea party is all about . . . getting back to the principles of our Founding Fathers, befoe there were parties. You know they discussed parties in the beginning and decided not to . . . after all, why risk your life to build something great and then split it apart? Time to start "Talkin' about a Revolution."
