Aside from the solo, the guitar just plays A minor chord all the time, with some small changes at the B string now and then. Which does not go with the piano, who differs between four different chords throughout the song.

@ChainsawVader i think he is doing harmony by playng added notes with the Am chord and also playing it without some of its original notes, as in suspended chords. He probably is playing in C scale so that goes with Am as harmony :)
