Ill be honest as a kid i loved godzilla my fav prob godzilla vs mothra (1964) i had it on vhs..... i did enjoy this one as a kid no matter what others do, or jump on the band waggon to hate.... the funky music made a classic introduction (i.m.o, also find myself hummng the ending music vs gabara) this was a good one bc i have never seen the other movies it took stock footage from (son of godzilla, sea monster) i really did like this and will prob always like it no matter what others say! :)

this was my 3rd godzilla film but when i was 4-7 i always liked it. my 2nd film was gojira the original and my 1st godzilla film was godzilla vs gigan i like the showa series a lot more than the heisie and milanium series probably because i saw all the showa series first besides godzilla vs king ghidorah 1993 or 94 one or the other.

I love this! I'm kind of amazed that it hasn't been used in a Quentin Tarantino movie yet.

Godzilla's Revenge is a pretty wretched movie, but I've developed a kind of sneaking fondness for it.

I actually like this film. There's a nice commentary on the deconstruction of the traditional Japanese ways of life (and it's not hard to see that). Fans don't like this one because, A) Godzilla isn't the main focus here. B) There's a lot of stock footage (which I agree is pretty cheap) and C) The main characters are children. I think the worst Godzilla movie is Godzilla vs. Megalon (which is still a lot of fun).

my first godzilla was godzilla vs the smog monster which is one reason i like it so mutch, but this film was by far the worst godzilla i have ever seen. my god, epic title, but the movie sucks!

@chopperpilot5 i agree. They just used stalk footage for the whole film. It should be realy called Godzilla's Stalk Footage. And with the title Revenge it should of been a darker and more original film.
