who ever uploaded this cut out the funny part where Warnimont called the place where he bought the stamps to see if there was another set and the guy told him some old geezer bought the last one.
Whenever i hear or see a doggy get run over, I can't help but think about my dog and I always wonder what I would do if she was dead. It makes me so sad :'(.
Wow, I don't know what it is about dogs having to be put down but it ALWAYS brings me to full on tears (Marley and Me, the Episode of Greys Anatomy where they put Doc down and now this.) Glad this one worked out.
omg i cried so hard i had a beautiful shih tzu named Patsy she died after she got hit by a car the one that almost hit my friend Nancy and me is so hard when you lose a loved one
Thank you so much for posting this. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes. I miss my childhood so much, eventhough it wasn't always the greatest of times. I used to watch this on NBC when I was 9 years old. As an adult I now realize how special this show really was. If I could only go back to 1984. Nostalgia1979 thank you again.
CubanOverlord: I feel the exact same way. This show was one of the biggest parts of my childhood. I watched it when I was very young. It's scary, I was watching it, and all the lines spoken on the show came right back to my memory. ( I was also watching other episodes posted on here, and the same thing happened)! I haven't seen this show in twenty years, but it seems like just yesterday I was watching it on NBC and 38. Thanks Nostalgia1979! I have tears in my eyes as I write this, too!
I know how Punky feels. I don't know what I would do without my dog. (And Brandon has been with Punky since her mother left them at the shopping center.)
This was one of those episodes of TV that hit close to home with everyone. Everyone at some time or another has lost a pet. Thankfully, Punky didn't lose her's. And it wasn't all wine & roses either. That vet was ready to give Brandon "The Shot" :-(
this episode is so sad i have watched it hundreds of times and i still cry everytime i own the dvd collection and i watch punky religiously since i was 2 years old and i am now 21 this show taught values and was for everyone unlike these shows on nowadays
yeah this show was wicked corney- but couldnt help but feel moved by these "special" episodes.. soleil was such a natural, great actress, too bad she looks like an alien with all that plastic surgery now.. ickkkkk
I cried so much with this one- Punky telling Brandon to fight. I'll always remember the older woman whose dog didn't make it-- even when I was a kid, she made me cry too.
Do you guys remember this episode? As she said the words, I could actually finish the sentences! And I haven't seen this in 23 years! Wow. I loved it though.
Brandon ate Henry's stamps & Brandon got hit by a car? That was so sad to see & Punky did talked & cried along side Brandon. And she loves Brandon by saying "Please Brandon?! I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you." and Punky saw Brandon wake up by surprise. That was so cute to see.
i rented the season 1 of punky brewster on netflix and it broke my heart, when i saw this episode.
it was very heartbreaking when it showed that the old lady's dog died. to me when i saw that, i thought to myself, that the old lady's dog gave up his own life to save brandon
Thank you so much for posting this! It really brought back so many great feelings of that time. I wonder what Punky is doing today and what she looks like now?
Bendyfreak, you're soooo right. People really loved each other more in the 80s. Punky is very beautiful. Go into my channel, I have the adult Punky at my favorites.
OHHHHH MY GOD!!!! That's little sweet Punky? She looks totaly differant, even in the face. You was right she is a knock out that's for sure. I still miss the cute inoccent little Punky and everything else from the 80s.
Gosh just seeing Punky again made me cry. I'm the same age as her, I was 8 years old in 1984 when the show came out and I had such a huge crush on cute little Punky! I wanted to meet her so bad. I've not seen anything of the show since the 80s and here I am 30 now and just seeing this again brought tears to my eyes. It really brought back so many wonderfull memories of childhood and what a time to be a kid in the 80s.
Hi, Bendy. Hello from Minnesota. I am 30 years old, too. I also remember watching the Punky Brewster cartoon on Saturday mornings, but I thought the live action show was much better. Yes, it was great to be a kid in the 80s. So many good TV shows and songs on the radio. Much better than the crap these days. I would give anything to be able to go back to those days. Anyway, that's about it. Type back, if you want to. Bye.
Hey catpaws hello from Tennessee! Yes there will never be a time like the 80s again. The reason I don't want kids is because how screwed up the world is today! I don't turn on the radio or tv hardly it's all filth these days. My huge collection of classic music and movies I watch. To me the 80s was more then just the movies and music. There was a magic in the air back then that no longer exists. Families was very close then and people loved one another.
How right you are, i agree with you totaly but you cant say you dont want kids for this reason. Granted there is alot of shit happening in the world nowadays and its a good idea to want to keep future kids out of it, still if everyone was to feel that way, we'd be an extinct species :)
Thanks for the video. Please keep them coming. I know how Punky felt when she heard Brandon might have to be put to sleep. Just yesterday, I noticed 1 of my cats, Samantha, was very sick. My mom & I took her to the vet. I didn't realize how sick she was. She was so sick she had to be put to sleep.
I also agree with hisaishimish. I wish there were more shows that deal with serious issues.
This is a coincidence, and I am really sorry. I love cats. I had so many that just died. And dogs too. I'm not embarassed to say I cried with Punky's words and found it a very moving episode so I decided to share it with you. Thanks for sharing this story, catpaws55423. You're great.
