@mrmrcritterkeeper That's not bad! Around here, the prices seem to fluctuate a lot. Every month or so, especially in the spring and early summer, roosters go up to $15-20 each. I haven't gotten in on the auctions yet myself. I'm incubating a bunch of barred rocks now and thinking about sending the roosters off to the auction. By next spring, I should have a bunch of surplus laying hens to cash in on.

If you are looking for lessons, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Patrick Costello aka Dobro33H on youtube. Go back to his earliest videos and check out the basic frailing lessons. That is, if that's the kind of music you want to play.
