  • you know, Freakazoids emergency broadcast would make for a great April fools joke.

  • Leonard Nimoy was also Galvatron in one instance. (The bad guy in The Transformers: The Movie)

  • Copyright's a bitch.

  • Dream Works oh wait that's taken oh and again that's a lawsuit

  • midget ponyride

  • lord smoke meats and fishes FOR THE RESCUE!!!

  • 6:34

Lord Bravery (Thinking): Oh, he most certainly did not! (Brit version of "Oh no, he didn't!")

  • 8:36........... O.O

  • Is his intro the Major-General's Song from Pirates of Penzance?

  • haha Dreamworks :P

  • Emergency broadcast is how it went down on 9/11 every just freaked the fuck out lmao there was no kind of emergency broadcasting

  • Why didn't he just change his name to Lord Valor?

  • Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. -sigh-

I love Freakazoid and CCF. :[

It's sad that they're both over.

Thanks for posting this, it means a lot. :D

  • One person thinks Lord Bravery will give them a scone.

  • NARWHAL!

  • 1:26 , so Lord Bravery's actual last name is sCUNThorpe???

  • "If there were an actual emergency we would've gone like this: AH! HELP! HELP US! NO! GET US OUT OF HERE! HELP ME! HELP EVERYONE! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! Thank you." LOL!!!! XD

GOD I MISS FREAKAZOID SOOOOO MUCH!!!!

*sigh* Why can't there be shows like this and The Animaniacs on T.V. anymore? Btw, WHAT THE F**K IS UP WITH THIS CNReal CRAP!!! It's called CARTOON NETWORK for a reason DAMMIT!!!! (sorry just had to get that off my chest)

  • causing a commotion, cause they are so awesome!

  • Narwhals Narwhals, swimming in the ocean!

  • @rawn170689 That viking stereotype raises a really good question... if you become an expert in ANYTHING, you find out that public opinion is wrong about some part of it. It doesn't seem possible. How can humanity's collective views be wrong about EVERYTHING?!?

  • Sigh...another stereotype Norwegian viking. Ha ha

Vikings never used horned helmets! I wonder who made that up?

Oh, and the grammar is all wrong! Here is the correct one:

    Dette er en narhval

    Hvor er narhvalen?

    En lykkelig narhval

Good pronounciation on "god dag" though. Not often I hear my language spoken in an undubbed American cartoon : ) I wish it would happen more often...

Did you know that they claimed the long whale-tooth to be a horn from a unicorn back in the olden days?

  • I cracked up during that EBS part!!!!!!!

  • Lord Smoked Meats and Fish!

  • @BoyNamedSue4 its Fishes!

  • haha for a second i wondered if it was the same kid who stole his camera before.

  • Looooove the HMS Pinafore-ish harmony and masculine vibrato in the theme song!

  • @10INTM It's actually the Modern Major General song from Pirates of Penzance. :D But good job for recognizing G&S.

  • is that eric idle???

  • LORD BRAVERYYY, LORD BRAVERYYY,LORD BRAAAAAAVEEEEEEERRYYY!!!

  • OH MY GOD INSTANT FLASHBACK!

  • Ya hear that? Cartoon Cartoons that tickles my nostalgia bone.

And who else remembers Cartoon City?

  • wait... what happens if fanboy and dexter douglas meet?

  • @brainfreeze91 i just realized... fanboy... they have a show called fanboy and chum chum now... coincidence? i think so.

  • @brainfreeze91 OMG I love you. I need to do a fanfic now with that happening in it! =D

  • Smoked meats and fishes!

  • @lemonade908 O.O!

  • He could've changed his name to Captain Bravery...

  • @Lemonade908 Not British enough. :P

  • Even the Lord Bravery's intro scene is very Monty Pythonesque. The policemen look similar to the paper cutouts they used while the Arch has that hyper-realistic look.

  • Happy little narwhale!

  • One person has no taste in comedy.

  • wait, why is he climbing the tree if he can fly?

  • @sunderwoodbio

Because he is a ponce :(

  • ONE dislike out of 34,601

  • Anyone else a little suspicious of what can be purchased at "Bumble's 'rubber toy' zoo"?

  • @razzamatazz11

    ....Rubber toy Bumble bees?

  • It's shows like this that make me regret being born in 1993 and living in a place where we don't have channels like Cartoon Network.

  • By the way I completely get the whole reference to John Cleese and Pythonesque comedy.

  • All these cartoons (Simpsons included) used to use old English stereotypes and cheesy impressions of posh or cockney accents, I'm sure they meant it satirically, but I wonder if a generation of American children ended up believing England was actually like this, with shops being called "Shoppe".

  • If lord... "smoked meats and cheeses" can fly why'd he try to climb the tree?

  • i love the Conversational Norwegian.

  • bill is an ASSHOLE!

seriously! even if his name is bill, can't he see the sheer number of people he's fucking by keeping his shop's name!?

  • I want to be a superhero named "lord smoked meats and fishes"... that name has a delicious accent to it.

  • Fear not, Mr. Chinese Midget's Pony Rides has arrived!

  • from around 8:00 to the end I just had a huge nostalgia wave, especially from that emergency brodcast at the end, I was just laughing at how funny the was and... it had probally been 10 years I last saw this

  • i once tried doing the emergency broadcast test and ended up passing out, i woke up 2 hours later lol

  • LORD BRAVERY LORD BRAVERY

    lol

  • lol at Dreamworks. XD

  • i dont think anyone can imitate his news alert tone without laughing XD

  • I know. I tried to do it and I just laughed half way through.

  • Are you actually suggesting that my new battlecry be 'Fear not, Smoked Meats and Fishes has arrived?'

You could put Lord in front of it....

Seriously though, where did our cartoon writers go?

  • Lykkelig liten Nakval!!!!

  • Apparently Lord Bravery was intended to sound like John Cleese. Its probably a nod to Monty Python, a lot of the humour on this show is very Pythonesque (i.e. it's awesome).

  • Is it just 2 episodes of Lord Bravery?

  • who plays freakazoid

  • @rocklee989

Paul Rugg. You'll know him best as The Dark Lord Chuckles the Silly Piggy from Dave the Barbarian, and as Professor Rotwood from Ameriacan Dragon Jake Long.

  • it's only a tv show ...

    it's only a tv show...

    *has glazed stare*

  • Lord Bravery's Theme=Gilbert and Sullivan? I think that's "A British Tar" or the Major General's song...?

And that was a great ode to Nimoy lol...

  • Dreamworks?!!

    connection perhaps?

  • Smoked meats and fishes!

  • Lord Bravery's voice really reminds me of some Monty Python actor.

Get on with it! (Couldn't resist thinking about the holy grail when i heard this line)

  • You mean John Cleese?

  • @Pinokio131 John clesse maybe

  • Same here! But the guy who was the voice of Lord Bravery was Jeff Bennett, not John Cleese (the actor you're probably thinking of).

  • i miss these shows, and at the end where it mentions cartoon cartoon fridays

    nostalgia anyone?

  • Yeah and those funny gag credits that were shown for a split second, like this one:

10:19 "Find Emmit Nervend Twice in This Episode"

  • miss it so much :[

  • cartoon cartoon cartoon fridays!

  • This is soooo monty pythonisk - I can picture John Cleese as Lord Bravery and Terry Jones as the clerk.

  • Haaaaaah! :D

    Perfect comparison! :D

  • @kellingc lol, when I first saw Lord Bravery I thought he WAS voiced by John Cleese!

  • HAHAHAH DREAMWORKS!!

  • Is that song a begining a spoof on Gilbert and Sullivan?

  • Something from the HMS Pinafore.

  • Really? I'm thinking more along the lines of Modern Major General.

  • I love how he turned from blue to red to purple and then to blue. XD

  • That Lord Bravery part has made me laugh out loud.

Great mixing of British and American humour. :)

  • 2:43-4:11, If I didn't know any better I'd say that one of the Pythons wrote this.

  • After watching this just now, I finally realized that Lord Bravery is voiced by the same guy that did Major Glory from Dexter's Lab!

  • My favorite episode of this side series.

Lord SMOKED MEATS AND FISHES is here!

  • happy little narwhale

i'll get a norwegian to say that

  • :3

    I have Leonard Nimoy's autograph :D

  • Lykkkelig liten Narkval =]

  • mark hammil as an englishman = WIN!

  • i love how they ended the episode

  • Comment removed

  • 8:12 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh(chough)hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  • That's the same voice actor as "the candy man" from Animaniacs!! XD I love him! SMOKED MEATS AND FISHES!!! XD

  • and I think freakazoid was also there. If you've seen the first episode, you can tell he was the director (both of them) and the clown

  • that's right =D Jeff Bennet's amazing, was also the voice of the Chief Guard (in the episode Hearts of Twilight and in the movie Wakko's Wish), plus he voiced Blitz in Road Rovers, Johnny Bravo and even Peter Puppy from Earthworm Jim, Jeff Bennet, such a legend

  • I wonder how on Earth they came up with the Emergency Broadcast skit?

  • "let's just get on with it."

    Monty python?

  • Is Lord Bravery played by John Cleese, it sounds so much like him.

  • Actually it was Jeff Bennett, but he did modelled the voice after Cleese.

  • Well its a pretty good likeness :)

  • I thought for sure the final not would be higher in the beginning

  • DREAMWORKS!!!! Lol

  • 'Oh, you're a loon aren't you! Where have you escaped from, I'll take you back!'

    great stuff lol

  • Did anyone find Emmitt Nervend twice in the episode? If yuo look at 10:19 it says he appeared twice, but I only saw him once, not counting opening theme song.

  • SMOKED MEATS AND FISHES! *stringy bit*

    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

  • You could add "Lord" in front of it. LOL :]

  • "I can hurt you, you know. I'm really quite strong."

The Lord Bravery sequences are very much like Monty Python's segs. Only took me 10 years to figure that one out.

Also notice that Snarzetti = Wakko. Just without the Homestar Runner underbite.

  • He mostly reminded me of the character of Basil played by John Cleese in Fawlty Towers XD.

  • He's a mixture of monty python characters and basil fawlty. Definately one of the better non-freakazoid sketches.

  • the emergency broadcast system cracked me up XD

  • what is the freakazoid episode, where it shows freakazoid breaking down a bunch of doors in a building, and at the bottom it says "doors broken down so far... 12"? someone help me out please = D

  • That Seasonn 2 Episode 2:'The Freakaziod'. Steven's spoof on 'The Godfather'

  • and another thing, he broke so far 5 doors

  • thanks for uploading these

  • an englishman who dresses as a roman? very odd and funny

  • Actually it does make sense since England was colonized by the Roman empire. What we think of as the English are more Roman than they are British (in the strict, Celtic sense of the term). You learn something new every day.

  • too true, i guess.

  • I'd almost forgotten about Lord Bravery, but as soon as the theme started, it all came back. What a clever show, too bad Freakazoid was canceled.

  • DREAMWORKS!

  • there was a plastics advisery board in England?

  • Holy crap! Lord Bravery's theme song reminds me of "Modern Major General" from Pirates of Pinzance!! :D You can hear the actual tune at :38!

  • midget pony rides? oh yeah i gots a pony for ya ;)

  • we'll make him change it , we outnumber him

  • LOL i love how lord bravery always gets laughed at XD

  • "Oh! You're a loon, aren't you?! Where have you escaped from; I'll take you BACK!" LOL! This show's a bit Pythonesque at times, is it not? XD I love it.

  • LMFAO the Emergency Broadcast thing is hilarious XD

  • Jeff Bennett did a good job with this voice (Lord Bravery). I thought it was acutally John Cleese doing the voice

  • XD great episode

  • reminds me of a monty python sketch at the begining

  • Pretty clever of Leonard Nimoy to slip a bomb into the autograph book, but I doubt it'll stop Fanboy from pursuing celebrities, persistant little guy ain't he? (and creepy in my opinion, look at his reaction when he sees the bomb!)

  • Lord Bravery: I hate them all.

They can't use the same name because "I'm afraid that would be too confusing."

Lord Bravery: Lord... Smoke meats and fishes has arived

  • He's the very model of a modern major general.

  • What did the guy say Lord Bravery's real name is?

  • Happy little narwhal n.n

  • What kind of super hero who lives in england dresses like a Roman?

  • lord bravery who else?

  • What kind of name is Lord Bravery?

    Freakazoid is so Funny!

  • "One who wants to use the element of surprise" xD

  • XD Dreamworks!

"Whoops, sorry, it just got taken. Oops! And again!"

  • "lawsuit there.."

rofl he should have called himself Lord Fawlty, cos he really is Basil Fawlty in a blue suit and red cape lol

Oh with a funny hat too. Whoever thought this up had a gift ^_^

  • DREAMWORKS!?

    ...hm.. Dreamworks?

  • 5:07-5:09 1/2: Agent Snafu theme song.

Agent Snafu: A Warner Bros. 1940's cartoon that were strictly for so1diers. Contained very suggestive humor.

  • According to Americans, all English people are either incredibly posh or cockney. And the only place in England is London which has been frozen in time since the Victorian era.

Despite being quite patronising, I like Lord Bravery. He's just Basil Fawlty in a superhero costume, what a brilliant concept.

  • Yes, and according to the English, all Americans have Texan accents, wear cowboys hats, and have a gun in one hand and a burger in another (I lived in London for about 6 months).

I agree with you though, Lord Bravery is really funny. Gotta love Jeff Bennett's vocal work.

  • Yeah, but I would rather have a Texan accent and a gun than a posh accent and a cane.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS THAT NATIONAL STEREOTYPING IS WRONG

  • No it isn't it's funny!

I live in Ireland and I don't get offended that we are portrayed as drunks with red hair and a love or all things green.

But if it is mean or offensive then it isn't funny and is WRONG!

  • Jeff Glen Bennet is my all-time favorite voice actor!

  • What happens if you eat the burger?

  • someone else who has seen faelty towers! And i couldn't agree more^^

  • Hey, Freako's coming to DVD! Get ready!

  • Dreamworks, LOL.

  • but yes you are the best for posting the freakazoid

  • Thank you :D...

But the Real heroes are Warner Brothers and Amblin Entertainment...

  • Try saying that when they remove this video with a copyright claim.

  • I wont hold it against them :D...

  • Alright first wiew and comment. This is fantastic the frek lives on
