Sony's laptops are so EXTREMELY high quality that the one i own(ed) got completely smashed by a 5 ton semi-truck! The best part was that the amazing design in the inside aluminum frame made the hard drive invincible! It managed to move the weight off and away from the drive so well that i was able to safely&securely copy all the information to dvd's using another pc!

its not a laptop. its a netbook. and for the price tag of 1 grand, dont get it. you get the same power as a regular 300 bucks dell mini 10 or hp mini. its WAY overly priced, however a very elegant netbook. for the 1 grand, i rather get the macbook pro or sony vaio SR
