I played CoH/CoV a while back. It was good but the pvp was lacking and the world seemed very small.

That said, I'm intrigued by some of the new stuff thats been added. Maybe I'll come back and try it again soon.

I think this is NCSoft's way of letting the world know that CoX is now available for both PCs and Macs. Or rather, it will be soon if it's not already. They might still be kicking out the bugs.

Well the game wasn't initially designed to have PvP in it, and a large chunk of the casual players hated that it was even added in. Still, gotta give the Devs credit for trying to add it into a game not designed or balanced for it. It is dying off tho'. There are two servers that still have a healthy PVP environment tho'. Freedom and I -think- Virtue is the other one....but I am not 100% sure.

CoH/V (not CoX) is definitely better than WoW. The only real issue is some of these lame things Positron adds like the Merit system. It just doesn't work well for solo players that have limited time and a life. Other than that, the game is a lot better than any other MMO out. Also some of the costume pieces needed to be obtained through grouping is stupid. Some of us don't have the time to do taskforces. There's not too many though. You can solo for the most part.

If you've played wow the major difference ive noticed is that CoH has a older more mature base of users. It is easier to get in a team and way more customizeable. The major downside for CoH is that the pvp community isnt very large.
