@Ganndo55 I've been a youth league umpire for six years. It's more or less a summer job, all you have to do is apply, they have a couple of clinics and then the season starts. 7-14 age groups. Higher than that is Legion baseball, now those umpires have to be certified. I'm going to get certified. Just thought I would get as much experience as I could before I moved up. And when I said that I also meant that I was a player for twelve years...and then became an umpire.
