Wish this final shootout had been more like what was featured in the book-- initial massacre, followed by the Robertson character and another 'volunteer' teaming up and carrying out hit-and-run counterattacks on the other group of hunters...for hours...until they're finally overwhelmed by superior numbers.
Would've been so much more satisfying. This, on the other hand, feels like the production ran short of money and had to end the story prematurely.
@dallesandro74 i never read the book, but I agree with your assessment of the movie. It was as if they ran out of money, or did not know how to end it.
Still, it was an unexpected and memorable ending to an underrated film.

Love this movie. Anyone notice that the bad guys are all packing an FN C1A1?
