six flags is using this roller coaster wayyy too much... there's the EXACT same style and inversions of this roller coaster at SF over georgia and SF fiesta texas.

@TheUNofficialNHL yea i agree. they cloned it so much since the original (at six flags great america) was the first inverted looping coaster, a big thrill at the time, and brought in a ton of people to the park.

The ride at Knott's (The Silver Bullet) copied Batman: The Ride. The Silver Bullet opened in the 90s and Batman: The Ride opened in the, 80s, I think. I wasn't born yet. All I know is that Batman: The Ride opened first

I've seen this ride done so many times in parks. I mean, it "is" a great roller coaster. I just wished they'd try building something new too.

It's not because the parks are in a different state or country that they should replicate the same coasters. Like.. I "am" going to travel to some theme parks outside of my region. Why would I wanna ride the same coaster, but under a different name, with the exact same trajectory twice?... Anyways haha, I didn't mean to write all this. :P just my thought

@F22RaptorDude yes they are very popular. There are about 15 or 16 clones of this I think worldwide. The clone at sf great america was also the first inverted coaster ever and the amazing thing about them is they are really intense with a fairly small footprint and still hold their own against bigger coasters!

@rollercoasterfan97 I agree. I go to BGT almost once every two months and I ride the Scorpion every once in a while when it's not to busy. The Scorpion is a 30 year old Schwarzkopf coaster and it's about 40-50ft tall but it's pretty intense. I love seeing the shocked look on some people as the get off the ride. They get on seeing that it's not that tall and not that fast so to them, it's not that intense, until they're riding it :)
