Nice video but a sad sight to see Twinset 1 leave Blackpool. Blackpool Transport should keep a Twinset unless anyone knows any different.

@stuvids I don't know what is happening with set 2, but It would be nice to think that Blackpool Transport would keep hold of this one.

But then again it's only Blackpool's heritage, so why bother.

Very good video of a sad event, Blackpool will never be the same again without the twins..lets hope at least one set remains active on a Heritage site

great video sad but happy to see that a twin car has left, as their is only one place which a twin set lives and that in Blackpool, no other museum will use them in the same way.

@FishyCam I believe they are heading for Birkenhead, but there are several rumours suggesting that set 1 will not stay as a complete set.

@theamateurbasher well you would think that they would have a happier future until you hear that one idea is that 671 goes to one museum and 681 goes to another, which is stupid, nothing been put in stone but knowing Blackpool it probably true

@srpott40 I hear they're destined for the Birkenhead Tramway; They're presently (December 2011) stored in Knowsley (Merseyside), pending Merseytravel's takeover of the Birkenhead Tramway, and subsequent expansions...
