  • its the taliah waajid conditioner that made your hair stiff...i know this is super late but i used it twice as well and my hair is super stiff every time

  • @soexotic17 OK thanks!

  • How long did it take you to achieve this length? I'm in month one since my big chop and although is thin it has fullness! I hope to have lenghth like that by next year and good luck with your blowout!

  • you hair is just like my lil girls hair. I want to do so much with her hair but its so so tangled. how do you get your hair untangled after you wash it? my lil girls is so tender headed that if we pull her hair a lil she crys. what could i do? also check me out im on my dreadlock journey. peace and natural love......O BOI'

  • @countrychristianboi Immediately after washing put a conditioner in it, and then finger detangle. In fact you could even try washing and conditioning her hair in sections, which prevent unnecessary tangles, but after the conditioner is in her hair, and before washing it out finger detangle. There are many You tube channels you could go to - hope that helps a bit.

  • Hi Emajay, Good growth. I met you about a year ago at the Hollywood Cinema in Memphis. Hope all is well. Btw I still do not have a ut channel yet. Ttyl. Kay

  • Ok Im glad Im not the only one who's had this problem. My 2nd attempt I had heat damage and I said never again. Im going to a professional the next time...which will be a long time.

  • Hey Chica! Check out Nikkimae2003 she does an awesome blowout that's very bouncy. She also tells her subbies what she uses. Hope this helps and your hair looks fabulous!!!

  • @preciousgoods1 OK thanks!

  • Wow, you're hair is sooo pretty! You can silk press it to get that bouncy body (you can do a YT Search on Silk Press). It's basically a type of flat ironing.

  • @PetUniqueLLC OK, I will check that out. Thanks!

  • I have no idea what to tell ya, cause I've never applied heat to my hair since I've been natural. Therefore I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of advice u're going to get! Thanx for posting this question!!!

  • looks great!

  • @gogobergie2000 Thank girl!

  • You did everything right. There are two ways to get your hair to move and I'm not sure if they are the answers you want. One way is to get more length. That means allow your hair to grow a bit more and the length *may* allow it to move more. The second is to blow it a bit more straighter. This means more heat on your hair. Nonetheless I think you blow out looks great. As long as it's soft and still healthy your good. Your "afro flow" will develop in a few more months probably.

  • @SheSingsLovely Aww, thanks girl! I can see how more length could do the trick. I appreciated your advice!

  • Oh, please leave it like that. You should enjoy that it doesn't move. That's your hair behaving naturally. It wasn't designed to move. But I feel you : ) Okay, if you really want it to move...cause I can see it in your face.... if you really want it to move: straighten it and then blow it out.

  • @WhereYaBoss I feel you, I guess I just wanted a little movement. I don't get what your saying 'straighten it and then blow it out'...how would that work? Thanks for commenting!!

  • @emajay1981 Flat iron it on low heat and then blow it out on low heat.

  • @WhereYaBoss I will have to give that a try! Thanks girl!
