  • deberian remasterizar el juego para la consola de xbox 360 la compañia de epic games ya que tiene un estilo muy paresido al gears of war en cuando al modo de juego digamos que es el prototipo del GOW

  • @minthel3 GOOD JOB

  • Bugs/glitches aren't what make classic games better then the current stuff. Old school games, such as WIld Guns which is one of the funnest, most exciting games of all time, are simply FUNNER then what gets thrown out there now.

  • sou viciado no wild guns

  • I remember when zbattle was popular (a program to play online with people that had a lobby, to play znes roms) I played this and introduced many strangers to this game :).

  • This game is one of the best games of snes

  • Damn Years later I remember this game .. I remember as a kid my cousinsand I played a lot .. was over! this game is great. vo looking to play on pc xD kill the longing.

  • No doubt one of the best and possibly my favorite game on SNES. It's a shame the player isn't doing the game justice there is no excuse to loss a live that early.

  • Tip to the guy that's playing: use your lasso.

  • alien storm much?

  • @Cokecakepopcorn How exactly are they anything alike? Alien Storm is a beat-em/ platform up styled shooter, much like Final Fight, Double Dragon, etc. You have a life bar, and take multiple hits before you die.

Wild Guns is a totally unique third-person shooter that emulates the style of a classic light-gun game, whilst implementing dodging and jumping mechanics. It's basically a rail-shooter like Star Fox without you actually going anywhere. Takes one hit to die like Contra.

    Alike? No.

  • @PrimalLight2323 Wow, did I hit a nerve?O.o

I say it is like alien storm just because the special level of alien storm is what this game is on normal levels....

Only difference is first person which doesn't count for much in earlier games, it is not like this game makes you feel like you are playing red dead or something..

  • Never seen this game before...wow this looks like a lot of fun.

  • Is this the first time you've ever played this game? Losing three lives on the first level is embarassing.

  • did this even have a story behind it? cause if it didn't then this game just told us it doesn't matter who or how many people you shoot, as long as ur having fun with it.

  • @SNESosT why do you need a story behind when you are being shot from every place possible? lol

nowadays games need a good story, because they feel are so empty, creating oversized maps and incredible long but easy games, and with stupid combos (just like god of war, just keep pressing square+square+square and you beat the game)

  • This game looks great and I want to buy it except I'm pissed that the price just randomly jumped way up.

  • That looks awesome... I've never even heard of this game... gotta get it now o.o

  • Spiritual sequel to Cabal? I don't think so. Blood Brothers is the spiritual sequel to Cabal. This game isn't even made by the same dev. It's its own game. If you are thinking that way, then you might as well say the first Street Fighter is a spirtual sequel to Karate Champ.

  • Do you need the gun to play this game?

  • @marmar3291 not at all

  • one of the best 2P games for the snes

how i miss those days were graphics werent everything and the 2P modes were actually fun and not frustating (with a lot of cheaters and hackers over the online game)

  • wow, never heard of this before but def wanna check it out now. Reminds me of contra with an interesting visual perspective.

  • Probably my favourite snes game :)

  • im totally downloading this on my snes emulator

  • I like it when screen go boom. :D

  • I'm trying to picture a full-blown third person shooter remake of this game on current-generation hardware with insanely over-the-top music like the original, fast and responseive shooting mechanics (including the cool dodges, weapons and EPIC bombs from the SNES original) and waves upon waves of baddies with a graphical style that's a cross between Vanquish and Red Dead Redemption.

But I can't picture that, because I can't picture heaven.

  • @LulzfaceMcGee sins and punishment?

  • Blood Brothers was the spiritual sequel to Cabal. Referring to Wild Guns as a spiritual sequel to Cabal is like calling Tekken a spiritual sequel to Virtua Fighter.

  • Comment removed

  • I miss this game so much i might cry:(

  • @Mikel3ambi

It's available on Virtual Console in NA and will be available in Europe next week. :)

  • this game is now on the virtual console :D

  • great news guys wild guns is now on the american wii virtual console

  • Nhehe....

    you used PSP SNES emulator?

  • this game was super cool!

  • haha i was really young when i've played this game good memories...

  • This was one of THE MOST addictive game i had ever played! I still play it sumtimes!

  • Old games are badass because the developers actually had to make it good and stable. Not like todays console games where you load the disc up and download a patch instantly or wait months for fixes.

Game devs back then had to release a good working product because you couldn't just patch a cartridge.

  • @drpd Well, you can actually patch a cartridge, and they did actually make multiple versions of a game back then to fix bugs and such.

  • @drpd

    Not all games are badasses

The old games i likes are 1942,Super mario bros. and Macross.Thos are NES games

I had NES when i was little

  • @drpd

Yeah that is badass but it was also a problem because alot of games back then were programed horribly! And they couldn't go back and fix it so they'd just sell it as is, like Batman on snes for example. How can you fuck up Batman for christ sake!

  • @drpd

Games today are also more complicated with huge teams, it is impossible to catch every problem and bug even with the best QA team in the world. Games were more difficult to make back in the SNES days but the games were not as advanced nor did they have 30 different coders thus a little easier to spot a problem and fix it even if it gets into QA.

  • @drpd this comment is so true that i have to say just one word

    W A R R I O R

  • @drpd You are under teh grevious misconception that they didn't patch carts... there are several instances of multiple "updated" versions of a game being released. (usually marked on the cart as "ver1.00 ect.") back then people who bought the first batch before they fixed it were screwed. Patches now mean everyone is able to get the updates.

  • @S0ryiu in some instances you are right, but rarely RARELY did a game get launched with game breaking bugs. I cant even name one game that launched in a state that rendered it unbeatable, ive played plenty of modern games that crash and or have game crippling bugs.

  • @ColdfireTrilogy Final fight on SNES would crash during boss fights(more specifcally the one against Katana/Sodom) untill they did a 1.5 version and released it. (there was a recall on the original ones from stores, but not from consumers who bought it)

Some versions of Chrono trigger (In japan and EU, the US versions was the revision) would never leave the name entry screen because of a bug.

  • @ColdfireTrilogy and let's not forget how every street fighter (a trend that IV should have ended, but I guess old habbits die hard) has atleast three version of itself just to improve balancing {Somthing arcade edition forgot existed}. (II, Turbo, Super, Super turbo. Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 2 gold, alpha 3. , III, III second impact, III third strike. EX, EX special, EXplus Alpha, EX 2, EX2 plus alpha, EX3. IV, Super IV, Super IV Arcade Edition. this trend never would have started with DLC.

  • @S0ryiu uncommon example, sure there are rarities around but they dont represent the majority which is that most games were released relatively ironed out.

  • @drpd there were also less variables in the old games.

  • Do you feel lucky punk?

  • 1 of the best snes games

    brings good old memories back

  • deserves a remake or port so bad. Wii or DS anyone? Even the motion control would work badass

  • @Monodi91 I dunno it'd be too easy on the Wii if the controls were like that

  • omg

  • you suck

  • 1 of the best snes games

    the v-gun rocks tha world

  • Fantastic game, though I happen to like SD Great Battle V just a little bit better. Then again, I am biased...

  • i have a rom of this i think

  • Wish i could buy this, but it seems expensive nowadays and quite rare (especially PAL versions)

  • I was the best at this game, I wish xbox would come out with a HD version like they did with street fighter 2

  • this games too cool for the Xbox, besides it only came out on the SNES

  • No shit it only came out for snes,

  • this game is beast

  • Heh, I remember this game well. My older brother and I played this so much back when we were kids.

Good times and Good games, I want to go back to these days.

  • hmmm, ur not the best on this game ^^

  • Damn, I gotta get this game. Nice video.

  • I remember this game for the SNES! I got so hooked on it as a child! lol

  • where can i get the emulator?

  • download it, duhh

  • GAME MUST BE ON VIRTUAL CONSOLE!!!!!!

  • imagine it for the wii in general!

  • no its a snes emulator and the game is wild guns which it is cool

  • This game is awesome, i think it was one of the late releases before the end of snes. It's hard but it's loads of fun too!

  • omg, this game is so awesome

  • It's a very awsome game!!! It's worth getting if you don't have it.

  • noob, to kill the man with a knife just press "Y"...

I'm better than you in this game...

  • Yeah what the fuck, you just have to swing your gun at him, one hit kill, doesn't anyone here know that?

  • Natsume was really good at game music too. Play the Power Ranger games for the snes and the music style is similar, but still good. Love this game!

  • @oneupdawg I agree! I love IWADON's as well as Haruo Ohashi's music for Natsume's games! I just wish they did more licensed titles for the SNES, then they would keep using the sound driver used in Wild Guns and Power Rangers. Natsume still to this day does licensed videogames, but they do them for THQ. The only Nickelodeon games that are worth playing are Attack of the Toybots and Escape from Volcano Island on the Nintendo DS. Those 2 games were developed by Natsume for THQ.

  • Does anyone know of a game similar to this, but way better. The game play is similar ,but cooler. In it you fight a series

of bosses like giant robotic eagles and if you shoot a pig a different a more powerful gun becomes comes out.

If anyone remembers its name please tell me.

  • That game sounds like Blood Bros.

  • I was more of a Blood Brothers fan.

  • i dont even know if this Natsume still exists, but if the "western" thing was as hot as it was on the '90 (well, its not like its not cool anymore, but it is just not like those years), they could do a sequel for Wii.

  • Thing is...I remember this arcade game, almost the same but more detailed... but the second player was an Indian. Anyone have the name of that game by any chance? is it wild guns (a sequal)????

  • Blood Bros. is the game you're thinking about.

  • thanks man! I've been wondering what the game's name was for years now! That game was so much better than wild guns too, but I figured since they resembled eachother, it was probably a sequal or something. Again, thanks :D

  • awsome game but you Suck!

    seriosly!

    for real

    practice!

  • This video wasn't meant to be a superplay, it's just showing the GAMEPLAY for those who don't know it, goddamn. You are just making a idiot out of yourself with that kind of stupid comment.

  • Good SNES times...

    One of the best games!

Wild Guns, Demon's Crest, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 2, Top Gear...

    Best games ever! *-*

  • This Game is Pwonzer ... one of the best Games ever ^^ i am pro xD ... i love this game , but this guy lost a live , by a " Knife Guy " on the First Stage , in the Firs lvl WTF ??? haha xD

It would be nice , if it would come on GBA / NDS so i could play it everywhere ^^

  • I always forget about those knife guys, toO!

This is one of the best snes games, really underrated!

  • I LOVE THIS GAME...!!!!!!

  • One of my favorite games...tho, it was kind of short.

  • Ey, that's someone know if this game is in the wii vritual console, or in ps3, or in any other console different from snes???

  • nope, sorry man

btw, why would it be on the ps3 if it was a snes exclusive

  • lol I reply 7 months later. no i was just asking cuz i really wanted to play this game, and i thought that it might be on the PS Store... i guess that was stupid :p well, now in the WiiWare i found Wild Guns something but it's not the same as the SNES version.

  • Nope and don't ask me why it was released ONLY on SNES It's still a mystery to me.....

BTW I'm gonna get A GP2X and play it on this machine with the SNES Emulator !!!!!

  • I don't like it when games get translated. Everything always seems so distorted when they do that.

  • the coolest thing was to bust places around

  • very nice, I played this game today on my Xbox.

  • he is a noob first class .hit action button when that fag with the knife comes .i don't wanne see you play super metroid

  • Just hit the knife guy with the gun to knock him back instead of wasting bombs

  • lol you have to use bomb to kill the guy with a knife just press twice on the shooting button near him ^^

  • Its kind of a shaem thats the only thing they're doing nowadays :(

  • My friend and I have beat the game on Hard in 24 min and 17 sec. from char. select til the death of the final boss. high scores are 3,020,920 and 2,920,550. Anyone beat that?

  • I'm at 2.6m something right now... maybe there are more points in 2player?

  • Ok nevermind, I just remembered this game has a lives left bonus, thats probably where I need to improve!

  • Ok, I just did a 3,077,640 on Hard. Lots of fun! But still far away from the guy on Youtube who does a 4 million something... I'd have to clear with no lives lost to get close to that!

  • thanks man it is Cabal

  • hey i remember a game from the arcade that just like this game. Is about two soldiers who are shooting on an enemy army like tanks, helicopters and of course soldiers. Does someone knows the name of that game?

  • Blood Bros. is the arcade game you looking for.

  • Yes Cabal is the game with soldiers, but there is another western game Blood Bros. wich is very similar to Wild Guns.

  • thanks for sharing this video! this is one of my favorite games from like 10 yrs back! fantastic gameplay, fantastic music! shatterhand was from natsume as well??? man, whatever happened to natsume then? both shatterhand and wild guns are among the best games i've ever played!

  • I think the music was also composed by the same guy that did the music to the Power Rangers games on the Super NES as well as the SNES remake of The Ninja Warriors.

  • I always wanted to play this, but for reason I never have. Thank goodness for emualators. USELESS TRIVIA: Those bags of gold have also appeared in Shatterhand, a 1991 NES action game that was also developed by Natsume.
