  • And how did you manage to get permission to film in Starbucks?

  • a very cool manager.

  • Love this short film so much-two lifestyles and how they collide together, its brilliant x

  • chicago!!! :D

  • brilliant

  • I've wanted 2 know what this was called for so long. Happened 2 randomly stumble across it on utube this week when searchin Roots Manuva as I realised he did vocals, cos i recognised his voice when they played it on hollyoaks a cpl of months back.

This is also on Bullet Boy, that's where i first heard it.

  • the ending song 2 kidulthood wen trife dies :(

  • love it.

  • great tune , nice work ....editing is art :)

  • this song is on 'Everyday' by Cinematic Orchestra.. and the original version without Roots Manuva singing, is on 'Man With a Movie Camera'.. its called All Things.. buy them both! there amazing ^_^

  • this track is a song from the movie "Streets of London - Kidulthood" you must buy the soundtrack? i dont know.. ;)

  • where can i buy this song from?

  • try Itunes, and if youi can't find it, google it (it should be there somewhere).

  • cinematic orchestra has it on one of their albums, i believe roots manuva has it as a single aswell, enjoy man :)

  • WICKEDDDD!!!!

  • manuvas lyrics are pure class, superb, ive many memories attatched to this track.

  • This is one to groove to, definately. Roots' stuff was better when he had this gravity in is voice, his first album rocks like crazy.

  • Amazing tune... but if im not mistaken this is not the full version and maybe im too used to the it but this is not doing justice to the track

  • I did edit the track down. The class project had to be under 6 minutes. There are definitely some great lines that I had to cut out, and the full song is beautiful

  • If you liked this song feel free to check out The Landau Orchestra's Stevie Bam Jackson. ~ =)~

  • this piece of art pierces my soul, I cant stop playing it.

If there were a museum of song then there should be an exhibit around this song.

Well done Cinematic Orchestra, you are true artists. Collaborate with Roots Manuva again soon please.

  • IMO- one of the greatest tracks ever made

  • Beautiful music! GREAT shots and what a powerful video! Love it!

  • very good. i liked the cityscapes a lot. didnt really like the shots of the waiters...didnt really fit in and the quality didnt seem quite as good. but...like i said, the cityscapes were awesome, five stars for them.

  • i first heard this song at the end of the classic film" kidulthood"

  • Opening scenes are very impressive (did u use any other lighting equipment or just the XL1?) but the latter scenes dont fit with it it........and I'd tend to agree with the former starbucks commment...

  • love

  • i love this song so much i searched for it for about 4 years and now its mine keep liveing everyone and live wise peace and love to all

  • Stevie Bam Jackson Landau Orchestra

  • can you be more specific about what you did not like?

  • and plus i'd rather be homeless than drink at starbucks

  • so you're like the man with the movie camera. nice.

  • Very cool film man. what camera did you use?

  • Canon XL1, a great camera. Thanks for the support

  • Roots manuva! Class! Amazin song with amazin lyrics! Proper chillout tune

  • very moving story and soul chilling music

Like DannerSkate said, this is exactly what i saw in my head when i heard this song for the first time.

  • The song is from Cinematic Orchestra's album "Every Day". Go buy it it's amazing! Nice vid!

  • One of the best tunes i have ever heard.

  • ah i see well fair play you met your breif and its still heavy hitting well done

  • its a shame you cut the track up some of the lyrics u left out are the most hard hitting

  • I agree, but for the project I had to kep the video under 6 minutes

  • Quite thought provoking ... great job.

  • amazing job man! the first couple of minutes is exactly how i visualised this song when i heard it for the first time!

  • awesome. the begining is exceptionally beautiful. excellent work!

  • Outstanding.

if only there was more like this...keep up da good work brothers and sisters!

  • what albim is the soundtrack from is it roots r cinematic, i know they worked with eachother on it ? thanks and buy the way great work

  • its not 'the' roots, it's roots manuva vocals (uk hip hop) just incase you didn't know mate. i think it's on an ep but i'm not sure.

  • Good footage, especially the opening bits. Perfect edits. And an amazing song.

From a story perspective though, I imagine if I was mugged, I'd hang up the phone?! Keep trying though.
