I've wanted 2 know what this was called for so long. Happened 2 randomly stumble across it on utube this week when searchin Roots Manuva as I realised he did vocals, cos i recognised his voice when they played it on hollyoaks a cpl of months back.
This is also on Bullet Boy, that's where i first heard it.
this song is on 'Everyday' by Cinematic Orchestra.. and the original version without Roots Manuva singing, is on 'Man With a Movie Camera'.. its called All Things.. buy them both! there amazing ^_^
I did edit the track down. The class project had to be under 6 minutes. There are definitely some great lines that I had to cut out, and the full song is beautiful
very good. i liked the cityscapes a lot. didnt really like the shots of the waiters...didnt really fit in and the quality didnt seem quite as good. but...like i said, the cityscapes were awesome, five stars for them.
Opening scenes are very impressive (did u use any other lighting equipment or just the XL1?) but the latter scenes dont fit with it it........and I'd tend to agree with the former starbucks commment...
And how did you manage to get permission to film in Starbucks?

This is one to groove to, definately. Roots' stuff was better when he had this gravity in is voice, his first album rocks like crazy.

this piece of art pierces my soul, I cant stop playing it.
If there were a museum of song then there should be an exhibit around this song.
Well done Cinematic Orchestra, you are true artists. Collaborate with Roots Manuva again soon please.

Good footage, especially the opening bits. Perfect edits. And an amazing song.
From a story perspective though, I imagine if I was mugged, I'd hang up the phone?! Keep trying though.
